WTF this club holds maybe 250 ppl tops, there's J Mascis, & Mark Gardener can hear me yelling "thx for coming to Amherst!!"?!?
This was surreal to witness & an absolutely AWESOME show for them - they even turned it down, the sound mix was *excellent*!!

Maybe this was an attempt by Ride to meet one of their heroes and influences by playing his home town. From the look of photos of J Mascis with the band, the trip was a success. 😆

Andy seems to have reinvigorated this because it sounds way better than live versions of recent years. Just wish Mark’s guitar work was more noticeable and louder. The studio version and early live versions were loud, you could hear both guitars and it was the combined crashing waves of noise and distortion that I loved.
