    I am laughing at all the comments about price. It clearly shows many of you haven't been looking for a new car lately. Hyundias now will set you back $50,000 Caddies CTS are bumping up against $70,000 Corvets pushing $70,000 Corollas and Civics are now in the 30s and I don't even want to know what a German entry level will cost.

    • @Deadbass_
      @Deadbass_ 8 лет назад +4

      Thank you, someone actually said it! Lol
      People don't seem to understand cars in general are raising prices.
      I literally would see comments like, "this isnt 45k, it should be 29k or 31k," thats merely a price of a Civic or Camry, in the base model too

    Actually, Roman says he worked as hard as possible to review the 2014 Regal, Encore and LaCrosse in the few hours he had with the new cars. Video production takes a very long time and the TFL team worked miracles to get all of these cars done in one morning.

    Watched this vid and bought a loaded LaCrosse as my bucket list car. Shopped the other brands, E class, Infinity, Lexus etc. My car has Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Not avail in '16 on any of the others. 3 years later I'm loving this car. Drove it NC to Disney World and it was so smooth and comfortable. Love the AC seats in the summer. MB has nothing on this car except outrageous service costs. My dealer treats me awesome and has just as nice a waiting room. It was a huge mistake GM cancelled the LaCrosse because they need a marque sedan, not just SUV's. Keeping mine for many years. Thanks Buick for such a great product!

    I just bought one of these, and the $45k quote here is a bit deceptive. If you got ALL of the extra bells and whistles, it could get up to that prices. But most people don't want or need things like blindspot alert, park assist, back-up camera, etc. I got a Navigation system, leather seats, and a few other extras, and it barely came up to $40k. If I'd stripped it bare, it would have been in the mid $30s. This is a VERY nice car for the money.

    My sister owned a 2015 435xi. My grandma' owns a 2013 Mercedes c350 and my recently got this Car. I've seen nice cars and have ridden in them and this Car is beautiful.
    It is fully loaded as loaded as my sisters bmw which she spent just under 70,,000 for. It's so comfortable amazing ride, and the bmw and benz cost more and don't come with rear view Camera or dashboard moonlighting strip. This Car is beautiful and the backseat is huge. The stereo is shit tho on this Car. It's horrible. Other than that it is comparable to the benz and bmw.

    I'm In my mid 30s and just purchased a 2012 Enclave. Its been great and I have not a single complaint except wanting to fall asleep while driving it because its so comfortable. I'm in the market for a Lacross for a daily driver but the price is too high and I make good money! Other comments posted state that is 3 series price range or even Audi price range. I have to agree with them. Us younger people like these new Buicks, just the price is too steep for an entry level luxury brand.

  • @keyboardtek

    Now in 2024 I am considering buying a used 2013 Lacrosse that has 85K miles on it. The lack of visibility out the rear and looking left and right for cars next to you was very concerning. I wonder if the rear seat head rests can be removed to improve rear window visibility? Also even though I am 6'4" tall, I could not see where the front of the car was without leaning as far as I could over the steering wheel. Plus I could not even read the speedometer unless the dash lights were on. It is like it is down a dark tunnel that get hidden by the steering wheel and dash board. Do owners get used to these annoyances?

    • @warriorxtman2

    Was expecting more out of this review. How does it ride? Road noise etc. You can tell Roman doesn't really care for this car. Personally, I love a smooth riding, quiet vehicle with enough power to get out of the way. This is close but I think if I had the wallet for what fit that bill it would be an S-Class.

    @Acuravigor47 I am in my 30s also and I agree, with you so far as to the price I like Lacrosse also but I have done reviews on it not the 2014 but the 2009-2013 and not heard the great Reliability on the Lacrosse in fact they said that the CTS had higher. With all of that being said I had test drove the Lacrosse that the drive is a little soft. Then I test drove the Regal and it had a tighter grip. If you plan to stay in the Buick Family I would test drive the Regal the plain and Turbo version....Good Luck

    one of the reasons it approaches 45k is because GM added a package that allows you to get it with REAL wood trim like you would with Caddy, Benz, Lexus etc etc. not the fake faux wood you'd get in lower trim models like the CXL and CXS (option is called Ultra Luxury including suede headliner etc). I'm not saying it justifies a higher price point or that its a worthwhile option but its only to explain why the price now stretches beyond 40k

    I love how luxury for GM means, sticking on another nameplate and adding a bit more chrome around the exterior. You can save alot more dough buying the other plates then buying something that cost more and has the same reliability.

    2014 body style is the BEST body style for a Buick LaCrosse it’s a beautiful vehicle. The newer Lacrosse are ugly the back end especially of the newer ones. Buick GREAT! job for the 2014 Buick LaCrosse.

  • @mak450
    @mak450 11 лет назад

    I've sat in them both as well, although the Lacrosse was a 2013 way before I sat in the Impala. Didn't seem to me like the dash and IP was any nicer than in the Lacrosse(not an issue at all in my opinion) but if they've improved the Lacrosse's interior for 2014 I'd be willing to bet it's actually got better material quality.
    The Impala was loaded and was a little over 42k, the Lacrosse was like 38k as equipped, I was way off on the price of a fully loaded model though.

    Depends on a few things. So yes and no LoL! I work at a place. where we all (except for bosses and what not) make right around the same amount of money between low to mid 20's an hour. And if you look at the parking lot it's a mixed bag LOL! Some of us have very nice cars, and seem to make an ok living, Some of us come to work in 16 year old oil dripping piles, bitching about how they can't make ends meet. so there is my two cents.

    I have a question for anyone that can help me out. :) I own a 2014 Buick LaCrosse and still don't totally understand how to change all of the layouts/looks on the instrument cluster. The question I have is this......does anyone know how I can change "the voltage meter" on the instrument cluster to something that shows Acceleration/brakes, etc? I know it can do it because every now and then my car will start up with that screen showing and then it switches back to the voltage meter. I would rather not see the voltage meter.....want a different screen. :) Anyone? Thank you!!

    Manufacturer representative always gives the generic answers, as a viewer I want HONEST and CRITICAL review of cars (unfortunately, if you are overly truthful, some brand may stop giving you access to their cars :-/). But likewise if the reviews are always sugar coating the product, that is no real review at all.

    The impala only goes up to 41k with every single option. If you see an impala thats 44k then thats the dealer marking up the price. I have sat in the impala and the lacrosse and the impala just feels nicer. The design of the cockpit looks more upscale and the materials used feel just as nice if not nicer.

    "Nicer" how? Seems like whenever someone uses the word nicer it's so vague. Like it's just an extra adjective put in to help rationalize the fact they prefer one option when they don't have any other reasons.
    And the reason the Lacrosse is more expensive is probably because of standard equipment, but I've seen the Impala go as high as $44k and a Lacrosse tops out at about $45k. I'd check their sites but Chevy's website never works for me.
