I'm so glad the interviewer gave Tomlin so much space to answer. I cringe at all the late nights hosts who interrupt her thoughtful speaking style with their own punchline.
Grace and Frankie has so much to offer. The writing is brilliant, the timing of Lily and Jane. and a lot of fun.One can also see the energy of these ladies and they play so well off of each other. What's not to love :)
I absolutely LOVE Grace & Frankie!!! I never met my grandparents because they passed before I was born. My mother also passed too soon to talk with me about aging, so I truly appreciate this show because they talk about things pertaining to THIS particular season in life, which allows me to learn some of the things about aging and the changes that go with it. My message to older women: Please begin teaching the younger and do not be embarassed to share your experiences and changes. Younger women NEED TO KNOW. I say this respectfully.
Hearing her talk about her childhood performances brings tears to my eyes! What a genius! She reminds me of the Robin Williams caliber of genius! You can see it in the sparkle of her eyes as she talks about it! Wow!
funny thing, I have older generation around me and in my family, but they do not want to think about their challenges, dreams, sensuality or anything - so I guess I am also living it through the G&F series
I enjoy this show because I have EDS I won't make it to 80 I don't think I'll make it to 60 honestly hope I don't make it past 40 because...id be in horrible pain.. But I love that I get to watch them have fun and imagine my own pain free old age
