Finding this live version of the song absolutely made my day. 46 years later, this song still fills me with anxious pleasure of days past and optimism for the future. Always been a big fan of the SNF soundtrack and the wordless songs mean more to me than the others (Night on Disco Mountain my 2nd fave). Amazing to see it put together live. I have friends that have argued that the original track was put together in a studio but I do know that it was recorded with a symphony however we can't find much information about it. This is absolutely stunning and kudos to David Shire for orchestrating the original and this group of fine people for making it sound exactly like the original version. Even if you weren't a fan of the Movie or Disco, if this song doesn't move you, you should have your pulse checked. I'm on top of the world right now. 😊 👏 👏 👏 THANK YOU for posting this!!!
My favorite track from that soundtrack and I love them all...but THIS. Still exciting and evocative. Takes me right back to the theatre when I watched the film in early 1978. College years. What a time. I was old enough to go to dance clubs.❤

I'm 57 and this is my 2nd favorite song off the soundtrack. Awesome song. Has that 70s feel. I wish he would re record or remaster this song so the background comes out more . David shire looks young still. Thank you for this Great song.

I’m ny-born several months before the film, for my 30th bday in ‘07 I decided to mark it by having us return to the city for a visit & going thru the streets & seeing the bldgs the song very much came to my mind
