The hardest working band in Australian music history. 1978 - Present Fess left in 2013 after 35 yrs, not a bad stint. Brendan Callinan only lasted 10 yrs, 1978-1988, most bands don't last that long. Mark Lucas on Drums since 1989. Brian and Geoff since 1978, wow that's a staggeriing 42 yrs. Outstanding Aussie band with a wide range of songs and styles. The critics can go and get well and truly fuck*d!!!!!
We just saw The Rads yesterday evening. I must admit that I had forgotten a lot of the singles. They played tho a lot like a Pub band from the 80s. A solid show with a good lead man. New guitarist ex Mentals, so he makes sense ;-)
100% the greatest Oz band period, havent stopped gigging since '78. Went and saw them 2 yrs ago in Emerald QLD only bout 80 people there and they kicked serious ass, even got to hang with them after the show for a coupla frothy chops,Mark is an absolute legend..Goin to see em in November
I mustv'e seen the Rads 100 times in various places in Sydney in the early 80s. So original, so creative, and so talented, nothing like any other band. Incredibly fun to watch, Brian in his getups, Fess looking like a dork but fuck could he play effortlessly. Brilliant.
Yup me too, probably australia's greatest ever pub rock band. Went to see them a few months ago at the woodport in Erina, I was 17 again, just for a couple of hours.🙂👍
One if THE quintessential rock bands in Aus. Saw em so many times in the 80's. Now im isolating cause if a covid scare, drunk n reminiscing. Be safe all, love ur fri- Stop, too cringey. ROCK ONN FOREVERRRRR
Man, Chris Tagg..good mate of mine, we done time together & he tought me how to play drums, love ya brother...if ya read this, remember Special Unit MRP ?
Still love this song, 40 years on.

My favourite Radiators tune. I like the menacing keyboard-addled post-punk sound on this. Reminds me of UK music at the time.
Can hear Gary Numan synth influence coming in.
Seen the radiators live more times than I've had hot dinners good live band in their day
Yeah me too , I love The Rads
how about a hot lunch?
Up there with the best 👌
I met these guys at Melbourne airport where I work and I found them very friendly and grounded.
Great song!! Long live the 80’s
Thanks for uploading. This is one of those tracks I could never find anywhere.

Great song
Wonderful tune.
good video clip
One of the loneliest songs in all Pop.
I miss fess and the keyboard player loves seeing them back in the 80s,I still see them now when they come to town
Cracking song even in 2024
My fave Rads song
The LOUDEST band I ever saw (Swansea NSW).. but sooo good .
A very interesting track. So very different to Scream of the Reel tunes. Thoroughly enjoyable
So confident…in a footy jersey 👍🏻
