These guys never got nearly the credit they deserve. Always cool to see that people are still discovering them...a true gem of Louisiana. This is one of my fave songs of theirs and it's just more and more delightful every time I hear it. Some songs never get old and this is one of them:)
I agree, but they did some dumb promotional stuff. I saw them play in Stamford, CT in 2006 at a FREE venue and all they played was stuff from their new album--which nobody even heard of. What a dumb move. They have such a big library of music they could have played to win over new fans. But they didn't. Stupid move. I love them, but I didn't enjoy the show.
The radiators where the reel deal saw them many times in the late 80s and 90s at the STING in new Britain CT had some dam fine times and thank you to sound man for letting me plug 🔌 into the sound board ✌️🇺🇲
Like The Radiators I was lucky to grow up during the golden age of New Orleans music (starting in the late 50's) - we had a chance to see the incomparable Fess, Allan, Ernie, Benny, Fats, Lee, Irma and so many others -often for free. I learned to listen to this great music and well has the Rads learned to play it - Reggie even had the privilege to play with Fess - and it shows! (Like Walter Earl would say, I could only carry a tune if I had a radio in my hand!) We were blessed and The Radiators are great descendants of these musical giants and are the musical gems of their generation! What a great body of work - Ed is perhaps the most under appreciated contemporary song writer! Timeless NOLA music for all the FishHeads!
Yes I saw them literally a couple of hundred times starting in 1984 at the Union Bar in Minneapolis. I saw them perform from east coast to the west coast and from Montana to New Orleans and many places between. Partied with them many many times and it was always a blast.
Epic live bands one of the greatest in my opinion saw em a couple dozen times buy all the right times...first high Sierra at the alluding theater after a dead show in New Orleans during jazz fest oh yeah they new how to shake a place downhill were at it God street wine the spin doctors thr mighty aru indecision Kai kln thr awesome max creek those were the days man
Truly an old favorite, remember driving around with this cassette in the car player. Check out the live version of this song from Toad's Place 1989, its on the internet archive. The local radio station used to broadcast shows from there back in the day. Toad's Place and WPLR still exist, but both are shadows of there former selves.
I still vividly remember first hearing them on the radio... in the past 23 years since then I have this song and all its variations thousands of times. These guys will be missed but their music lives on!
I got that record in 1987 when it first came out and loved it. Just thought of it and looked it up on YT - just as good as I recall. I used to tell people I'm a Mad Molecule.
The Dream Palace 1978 with The Radiators..Toga party and the incredibly beautiful Terri Tucker Reeves working the bar..I worked upstairs in the restaurant washing dishes and dreamed about getting up on stage to rock with these guys.. Suzanne out shakin up the dance floor as they jammed The Law of the Fish and Suck The Head... Some nights it was a grand dream and others more like a nightmare but we were young and crazy and had a lot of fun..!!!
Everyone I knew especially rock chicks who knew where to get the best smoke in Chicago would always play these guys. When I see how few people are subscribed it angers me in real way. Rock on boys!
"93 DAD's Halloween Masquerade Ball in MPLS--all time best version of Dreamers. Camille, dressed in hospital scrubs, absolutely shreds it. Malone gives him his props at the end-- DR. Camille Bauduin!! Those DAD's shows always smoked!! Some of my favorite live music memories EVER!!!
20+ years ago the played a bar in Northern IL and I called in and won a CASSETTE (tells you the time frame) of Zig Zaggin Through Ghostland. I wore that cassette out. Now I'm living south of New Orleans in Venice and wish I'd seen them in their prime, live.
most of us know, many great bands dont make it to the next level, because the industry call the shots and you cannot bring or create your own image, many decide not to sign multiyear contracts because they'll own you
I just saw a Reggie (bass player) interview where he talked about this video. Ed and the Piano where in the swamp with the gators and the snakes. It was there second and last video...
Wanna stand out on a rugby pitch? Play this a few times before your match starts (nice ‘n fuckin’ loud!). See what happens to the level of your performance…!!!
Didn't you like the colorful architecture, City Park and the trees and plants ? All those floated my boat. Being a musician, I got to play with some of the best in the world, like Dave and his brother Tommy, Cleary and Johnny V. Just couldn't afford the housing prices, and I'll always miss it.
if i was watching a great band the radiators, why would i click on a link to a beiber video? get your target audiences straight i dont wanna see that shit

I agree they are awesome! I've seen them live about 90 times. I love the song "Chainsaw Massacre", it's a serious jam.
Agreed 🤩
Well put
..one of the great live bands ever
Just discovered twenty minutes ago...
This is a phenomenal song by a high energy band. One of the Crescent City's finest.
One of my favorite, all-time Radiators songs. Camile''s solo's are just blistering! That's why we call him "The Shredder"
yes yes
Enjoy...
So many great musical memories listening to the Radiators. Ranked right up there with Little Feat!
I can't figure why this group didn't get a whole lot more exposure and recognition than they did.
Had this album on cassette back in the day. I wore it out. Such a talented group of musicians.
Law of the fish! Probably some of THE finest music ever composed and performed!!
Never heard of these guys before, they came up on my Little Feat station on Pandora. These guys rock!
These guys are absolutely incredible! My soul just flies when I hear this song! So beautiful!
One of the best songs ever recorded. Put it in the time capsule!
The radiators where the reel deal saw them many times in the late 80s and 90s at the STING in new Britain CT had some dam fine times and thank you to sound man for letting me plug 🔌 into the sound board ✌️🇺🇲
That note held by the guitar at the end of the solo where the keyboard comes in gives me chills.
This is a raw southern smoker with that New Orleans feel mixed with a lot of energy. DYNAMIC!!!
Awesome group, saw them many times and was at Tips' the night they should the club portion of the video
It's been at least 15 years since I listened to them, After all the years it still gives me chills and awesome memories Of Tip's Uptown !!!
Played this song every Saturday on my bose 301 living in covington La driving and delivering Abita beer

They were insanely good live

They were AMAZING live!!!

These guys are the real deal sooo good
Yep you are right
The lead guitarist, Camile Baudoin, is my cousin. I love his playing in this!
+Zach Dufrene (zdhomemovies) Your cousin taught my brother guitar on waldo Dr. back in 1978 or 1979 not sure which.
He's also a great slide guitarist, but I'm sure you know that.
Right on! Amazing cousins everywhere. Looks like he has a good time jamming, too.
You don’t see the name Beaudoin every day
As I was watching this, again, I was thinking what a great guitarist he is! I've seen The Radiators many times, usually at Tipitina's!
The Radiators played in my fraternity's backyard in 1984. When the neighbors complained they moved their gear to the living room and kept rockin'!
Lucky you!

Great song from start to finish.
One of my favorite Radiators songs🥰
My dad was their roadie for years in the 90s. He always talks fondly of them, he even has an awesome Elton John style jacket one of them gave him
I drove a a little one ton f 350 in 87 for Jim and Rush met the drummers father at Mande's in Mandeville at the foot of the causeway great man
Get this in my head every so often for the last 30 yrs. ( And, like Nobody Plays this)
I got that record in 1987 when it first came out and loved it. Just thought of it and looked it up on YT - just as good as I recall. I used to tell people I'm a Mad Molecule.
a great group that never got to the next level makes no sense
Hip-hop wanna bes dominated the airwaves
Some are just not willing to sell their souls for fame and fortune
Awesome you mad molecule
This is in my top ten of all time. One of those songs that just puts me in a good mood!

Love it. I taped this off 96 Rock in Atlanta when I was a kid, and I loved it then!!
saw them play about 5 years ago and they can still jam
Hey,I ran lights for a covet band in the late 80s we opened for them in Loncoln,Ne. And they flat out kicked ASS
20+ years ago the played a bar in Northern IL and I called in and won a CASSETTE (tells you the time frame) of Zig Zaggin Through Ghostland. I wore that cassette out.
Now I'm living south of New Orleans in Venice and wish I'd seen them in their prime, live.
...LOVE Y'ALL...

Happy birthday Phillip Chevron! RIP!

This is a four minute acid trip. Nice.
I just saw a Reggie (bass player) interview where he talked about this video. Ed and the Piano where in the swamp with the gators and the snakes. It was there second and last video...
I can swear your lead shredder is my twin but 7 years older than me I was 27 when this was shot in Tips Uptown !!!
Worth some replays on 7/5/23 In Dirty Myrtle Beach ⛱️⛱️⛱️
This song was on heavy rotation in the late 80s on WZEW in Mobile.
love this song
This, Touch of Grey, and what I am were the last three good videos MTV played. Well, until grunge anyway.
What is your favorite song from them
Hello NAWLINS!!!
i did not know MANKIND has a band
Classic
I think part of this was filmed at The Cabooze Bar in Mpls MN. Does anybody know for sure?
My friend from AOCS 2970, Steve O., really had it. Let's make it happen too.
Would love to rework this in the style of the guitar lead. Stephen Stills meets Skynyrd.
radiate moms will never be the same
They had a good 33 1/3 years run. I miss them already!
I'm learning this on piano, any way I can get sheet music? can't find anything on the net
I did find sheet music-try sheetmusic plus or hal leonard.com

For Aja
Sweet solo though...
Right
came here because of a beatles song.
Other than the food, the music was the only good thing about living in New Orleans.
And...the woman. Just saying.
Aussie Rads are better.
