beautiful ending! this was my favorite drama and i love the main couple as their love was truly a true love story. i jus hated the ending was hoping to see them together with a child. 🥺

I watched this show because of this edit. I'm glad it gave me a heads up cause the ending would have pissed me off otherwise lol. This will remain one of my favorite drama for sure. Loved the main couple, especially the FL, and all the other characters played their part well (just wish they made her disciple a little less annoying 😅).

One of the best Chinese Dramas I've seen so far! Well written, directed and outstanding acting! Great cast of characters. Really wish there will be a second season but based on the ending that would be quite an interesting twist.

Sicha sad yet sucha a beautiful drama it would have been nice if they have lived together but not all stories have happy ending i think they lived the best of their lives in those small moments and time I love this drama so much 10 out of 10

ep 37, days or weeks after they were married, there's a scene where rr was weak without explanation, and nyz looked worried (maybe rr is pregnant and only nyz knew,), which would make him want to take rr out of the battlefield immediately without her knowing coz he knows that rr would still want to fight no matter what
case 1. nyz could have just easily flown back and get back to the fortress (his internal force is full, plus he only got stabbed in the back, plus the enemies were still down), but he chose to show to all his death 2. they defended the fortress immediately, so they could have gotten his body back (i think he informed ding hui of his plan, they got pills to stop breathing, right?) 3. before his "so-called" death, he reminisced of liudao hall members, but not rr? if he is to go be with them, it should be rr that he would reminisce. he removed his badge to say goodbye to liudao hall 4. because he knew rr so well, trust her abilities as the best assassin, and knows she would avenge him, nyz already had a plan beforehand to save rr and escape 5. he knew reinforcement was already coming, so it was already safe to back out 6. he was appointed as marquis, which he is tired of and don't want to accept, that's why all the more that he wanted to escape with rr because he knows he cannot reject the emperor 7. the details that the kid was saying to cy, like uncle ding, father making wine (which only yss and nyz knew about), and sister name of ren lu (which cy does not know that rr is closest to yl) were just too specific, which makes me doubt that the kid was just a hallucination. (after 10 years, i think they were ready to show themselves). cy just had a wishful vision in the end that all 6 would be reunited just like before
anyways, this is my take on the ending. everyone is free to make their own :)

I'm so confused about the ending! The kid's mother's name is Ren and Father's name is Ning. His name is Ning Shisan and his sister's name is Ren Lu. So, Ning YuanZhou named his son as his best friend's name (Yu Shisan). And Ruyi was close with Yuan Lu. SO, she named her daughter Ren Lu, RIGHT? Then does that mean they are still alive?

This still make me confused until now. I still don't get the ending whether that child are Ren and Ning's son(so they're alive?) or A-ying's maybe? ; or she's just simply seeing things (like she is dying meaning that kid is just the grim reaper)

I never regret watch this drama. I want to rewatch too, but I will stop at episode 34.
