Holy shit, that is incredibly based. Initially I was a bit disappointed that Ukraine seemed to support Israel entirely, but I figured they absolutely could not risk pissing off the US. Now Ukraine states they recognize two states and want a peaceful solution. I'm impressed!
Ukraine needs aid. Israel does not.

I love how we're somehow able to lift every single restriction and condition on our lethal aid to Israel, and have them suffer no consequences for committing war crimes in its acts of aggression against Palestinians. But the second Ukraine says its running out of ammo, or needs to make pre-emptive measures just to ward off attacks from a much bigger country trying to annex it, we're dragging our feet to the bitter end. 😔

@@blitzwing1 He probably was during the Clinton and Bush years, not anymore.
You see Ukraine was attacked by a much larger enemy. Israel however was attacked by a much smaller less influential group ,meaning it can be labeled as terrorism.
This is BIG! Ukraine has been (correctly) targetting Russian supply lines from the very beginning. And the only reason why the Russians didn't feel it that badly is because they essentially parked all their supplies on the border. If they'll have to move their depots and camps and repair facilities back to give more time for counter-batteries to react, that can very well be the end of any future Ukranian offensives depending on how much supply convoys they have left.
Well said. My analysis is the same as yours.
I may have read the articles wrong, but I thought the US only allowed attacking into Russia from the Kharkiv direction? So it's definitely big to help fight off the offensive, but it's far from helpful from slowing any future offensives.
The Javelin is a game changer, the abrams is a game changer, the f16 is a game changer...this is the new iteration of the meme. Either Nato goes boths on the ground, or I strongly doubt Ukraine will win. @@pierluigiadreani2159 All of them have been game changers. None of them were ever claimed to be "the war ending weapon".
Crimea is not self-sufficent on munitions. Cut the access points, and they will run out, and war weary soldiers will surrender. War weary, and from the start reluctant, soldiers do not fight until the last man.
I also doubt Ukraine will win, but for other reasons, too complex to go into here.
Did anyone thought that the u.s might have waited this long to bait russians into wasting a portion of their summer offensive diverting troops and materials for a northern offensive they thought would be easier because of these restrictions?

Yes but inverse of what you said.
"you can't strike anything beyond 50 miles of the Russian border"
*Russia builds bases at 51-55 mile mark*
"You now can't strike anything beyond 55 miles"
*Ukraine deletes all those bases, Russia builds bases 75 miles from the border *
They build, we increased, Ukraine wipes. They build out of range, we increase, Ukraine wipes. (Up to a certain point)
Could we not use the public "max strike range" to aid Ukraine in this manner? Does it violate any laws?
I'm pretty sure it's the fear of it going nuclear that limits the range, not any law.
Because if they keep it private, they can effectively do whatever they want, and if they cross the line, Ukraine will just get a private slap on the wrist (but also told good job).

What are they going to do? Install a globalist puppet government, unconditionally surrender, and accept a Versailles treaty? Who would want that?
Not likely. They had 25 years to do that. Everyone who have tried are dead, in jail or have fled the country. The remaining population are so permeated by lies about who the enemy is. They have been feed this idea that if Ukraine falls into the western sphere NATO will use it as a springboard to launch a Third Reich like attack on Russia. The current generations in Russian schools are being fed militarism, nationalism and propaganda as liberal arts education to compensate for when the old people who, was brought up with the similar education in the Soviet Union, are dead. There's no general democratic will among those who are left in Russia. They want someone who tells them to just line up and walk of the cliff. It's the only system they associate with some kinda relative stability. They believe the rest of the world is more or less the same and that democracy and election is just a front for authoritarian rule to give people a false sense of contribution. This ends when the Russian state collapses and logistically can't supply their troops anymore and therefor are physically pushed out by Ukraine or when Putin dies.
He has a very tight grip on the country. If Ukraine is to win the west needs to be in it long term with the military aid
Can I recommend the channel NFKRZ specifically his video "Nobody hates Russians more than Russia"
Regular people don't count for much. What we need is some of the power players getting tired of him.
_Does_ Russia have nukes?
It has to be asked, at this point.
Also, remember: It is in America's best interest that Russia _doesn't stop fighting Ukraine._
America wants to spend the maximum amount of Russian lives, and how many Ukranian lives that takes is not a concern, as long as the war continues.
I saw the thumbnail as "Ukraine Goes Offensive" at first and wondered if the Ukrainians were just sending Putin footage of them flipping the middle finger at him. I feel like he would commit a bombing on Ukraine just for feeling insulted.
There is a theory going around that Russia had absolutely, positively been sure that misinfo would de-stabilize the US at best and would stop the transfer of shells to the UKR. They made these 'turtle tanks' as the intended killing blow since the things actually do have jamming systems under their goofy-ass exteriors.
Except the US was NOT de-stabilized and those shells arrived. Since russia went all in with anti-drone tech those same 'turtle tanks' don't hold up so well against artillery.
Makes sense but Ukraine will still need a lot more artillery shells
"US was not destabilized"
Given I'm hearing pro-russia talking points from a family members who would've previously preferred Putin's head on a pike of his own creation, I wouldn't bet too hard on that.
Abrams : Deployed

Hell yeah!
I follow a channel called "Memorias de Pez" that provides a weekly summary of the war. It's pretty good. It's also hilarious how in every single video, he says, "This has been a crucial week for the conflict," or something similar, even if nothing has happened. I recommend it to everyone who understands Spanish.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Article is somewhat unclear, so to be clear, ATACMS are still not permitted in Russian territory. But this will likely change in the near future, as UK/France are permitting Storm Shadow strikes. It's been clear that Belgorod must be neutralized for some time. The real party will start when Ukraine gets permission to strike Rostov. Then we'll see the SE front start to fall as Russian logistics become starved.
Artillery is also a big emphasis in Soviet doctrine because the Soviet Union placed a lot of importance on maths skills in their officers schools, the Soviet Union in a sense fetishized science in general, how do you pronounce that with the military? Through maths of course. Now what branch of the military uses a fuckload of maths? Artillery. Artillery especially before the advent of fast and compact computers required the officers to manually determine what grid square Ivan just called in to blow up, and manually calculate what the angle of their gun should be to hit the designated target. That is one of the reasons the Soviet and of course by extension the Russian military places such importance on Artillery.
the main reason for russian overreliance on artillery is that the russian doctrine doesn't place a great emphasis on air superiority because they don't believe that they will achieve air superiority in LSCO, focussing more on air defense platforms than their air force.
Glory to Ukraine
At this point....I am not scared of any conclusion....we must stand for Ukraine without fear or we are not free...how can I enjoy freedom and demand my safety while they are all protecting me with their lives.....they can do anything they want against the invaders in my view

To be fair, the Russian army was kinda dogshit on every level and were fighting Germany
@@Rangerj04 you aren’t wrong, but I was comparing the current Russian army to the Kaiser’s in WW1. They’ve been suffering bad logistics since the war’s start and their morale has been questionable.
@@puchy110 Ukraine has been targeting Russian logistics, from basically the beginning. The Russians have so far managed to avoid this being particularly harmful to them because, in the lead up to the war, they basically stocked up all the bases and supply depots they have near the border. This is part of why they weren't able to hold their gains further into Ukraine, yet have held the places near the border so well. Not the only reason, of course, but a big part of it.
The Ukrainians finally being able to effectively target these depots and bases (and so the Russians needing to move them back to protect them, in response) will effectively target their supplies and morale.

3:21 another note regarding missiles for all the tankies and isolationists among the idea of resupplying....
Missiles expire relatively fast by comparison to arty shells. which means they need consistent upkeep for the most part. As for the US we have 3 options for how to deal with them... (And remember we are not in war time use).
First we can send them to be reset and have the fuel changed out to reset the clock but this is pretty costly. Second if the calendar lines up they can be used for training days for them be used by people training. Third is if we know someone can just launch them on arrival why not send them in foreign aid packages.
What are you saying here? Russia can manufacture missile components.
Don’t you think an active war makes missile expiry a trivial problem?
@@sataniccabal4276 They are saying that it is worthwhile to send missiles to Ukraine simply on the basis that surplus/soon to expired munitions are disposed of by demo crews or used in training, and that doesn't include the geopolitical benefit of helping an ally.
A common argument from isolationists is that if we stopped assisting ukraine magically all of our poverty would go away or some shit - when in reality our defense budget only accounts for 2% of our GDP and furthermore Ukraine aid only consists of about 4% of our defense budget.

LETSSSS GOOOOO!!!
It's so not to hit Volgograd refineries, in other words the US won't let Ukraine attack Russian oil since they own around a fifth to a quarter of Russia's oil and gas.
Refined product does not matter. Russia can still export crude oil and that's what matters to the international market
@@StayFreshMyFriends but crude oil doesn't sell as well as refined oil. Plus Russia needs refined oil, so they will have to ship crude and then buy refined oil if they lose too much oil refining. This also really hurts Russia's economy and I doubt China is giving them supplies for free.
@@fluffybunny7089 Excactly my point, Hitting Refinaries hurts russia but does not hurt EU or US because they only care about crude oil.
On the contrary, they did get what was needed for the counter offensive. But, what we underestimated and severely, was the difficulty of canonical warfare, or standard warfare. Meaning, warfare that doesn't introduce 15000 crimes against humanity in its first day, (Looking at you Israel. Looking at you US in Iraq) - where you literally carpet bomb EVERYTHING down to gravel, reducing EVERYTHING to dust.
Standard warfare, seemingly is much more difficult. The manpower required to take and/or take back, is costly as hell. Equipmentwise, its the same. If Ukraine ups its technological weaponry at some point on the front line, Russia will allocate resources to match it - it will never be easy for Ukraine to take anything back. Portraying the counter offensive as something rinky dink, as if it didn't have some of the most modern, high tech weaponry is a disservice to truth but also the Ukrainian (and I guess to some degree, the Russian invaders) men who lost their lives.
The rhetoric in Ukraine always was "just wait until we get X and we'll definitely win". Then they get X and literally nothing changes.
Good. About time.

I know Voosh means well, but there's some awful info in here. US is not giving any new weapon types, it's just a very narrow permission to use *some* weapons on *some* targets in Russia. For example, Ukraine can use artillery and basic HIMARS rockets (80-90KM range), but they are not allowed to use ATACMS (300km). Ukraine cannot strike airbases in Russia with US weapons. Ukraine can only attack targets in some way attacking them (you'd think this would include airbases, but no) and only over the border near Kharkiv. This is still good and helps Ukraine, and hopefully the allowances will expand, but it is NOT blanket permission.
OK, he mentioned the ATACMS restriction later on, but I leave it for the range comparison.

So Vaush says some slightly incorrect things and then kind of corrects himself later on without saying that he's correcting himself. For years USA was reluctant to give Ukraine weapons that good strike really deep into Russia. But they did eventually give them such weapons but forbade their use in internationally recognized Russian territory. Now USA has slightly let off on the leash and now says that Ukraine can strike with these USA weapons inside Ukrainian territory but not too deep inside. But still Russia is completely unrestricted and yet USA is still restricting Ukraine. Zelensky has said publicly that he wants all restrictions removed, that while this step is important, he wants no restrictions on distance from Russian border.
