Totally agree, Rays character is terrifying, i think they were allowed to ad lib and improvise which helped it look so credible.. Actually met Jamie Foreman whilst on a stag do in Dublin, he was with a group of london lads who looked pretty scary, all dressed immaculately@@stephenhooper8287
He had done stuff in TV and film but hadn't really made it big time then, it was around the time he had his own sitcom, 'Get back'. As I say, a great guy.
If you watch one of the early episodes of The Sweeney circa 74/75 you'll see a very young Ray , remember him in Auf Weidersehn , Minder and a film called That Summer bought the soundtrack album which was than the film . For me as a 61 Brit he's an iconic British actor up there with Mr Caine
Nil by mouth is just mind blowing with Kathy Burke and Jamie Foreman and supports..if you want a harder watch War Zone time rRoth directed Ray..an incredible piece of cinema
I was working on a Walt Disney film at Elstree Studios in 1984 "Return to Oz", Ray payed us a visit in the studios, think it was early on in his career.
He was beyond brilliant in (Sexy beast), and (Nil by Mouth) and (44 inch chest)-he was absolutely brilliant in those and every film he's been in. One of the best British actors ever. Up there with the likes of Daniel day Lewis, Gary Oldman. Great actor.
Nil by mouth was brilliant. He was also in a similar movie directed by Tim Roth, The War Zone. Winstone, Roth, Oldman. Have they all been in the same movie?. Don't think so. Would like see one.
Actually, I have not written her name correctly. I meant to come back and do it. It is Katherine Ryan and once upon a time she did used to be funny. A long long time ago though. @@AlanBrown-d8w
Just hello to you,but my dad new your family well, also think if I got it right, your uncle Charlie moved to Witham,my dad collected his pools coupon every Friday, respond if you want, I born In Clapton, Chatsworth road,1951,so not a stalker 👍❤️
Nil by Mouth is arguably one of the greatest British films ever , shows what really goes on in British homes , hits so hard
Absolutely!! When I first saw that film I thought I had just watched a documentary, the writing and acting was sensational!!

Nah that film is dated and really depressing horrible watch
That’s a tough watch but has so many good actors in it.
I dont think so. Can think of hundreds better.
He was a customer in my Mum and Dad's Off licence for years, and was a truly lovely person.
He still bought his own drinks?

Having come from a similar home as a child, watching this film was very upsetting as it is very realistic: a superb film.

JR needs to ease up on the hair dye, there should be some grey!
He’s a pretentious prick
Not sure about the moody bins, ray
You got a strange dynamic here because Katherine Ryan is completely talentless & contrived. Then you have Ray who is very charismatic & talented
dont like him..i gave him a parking ticket 25 years ago he swore at me and gave it the big one all over a 30 squid ticket....
Nobody likes parking attendants 😂 nobody..
