Kinda weird that the shotgun has a covenant-themed skin, since the covenant don’t really have a shotgun aside from the Mauler
Kinda what I was thinking. They could have made 3d weapon skins and turned the shotgun into the m90 or m45, and gone even further and made the assault rifle into the needler and the pistol into the magnum. These are still good skins, but I’ll definitely be running black ice over them.
The bulldog would've looked cool, but I guess the gun models have to match Siege's more than the other way around. The pistol looks like a generic UNSC skin.
@@jonathangarlinghouse eh they’ve done some pretty gun altering skins in the past. I think they could have been more creative. But they nailed the suit itself, one of the best skins in the game, if not the best.

The shotgun matches the covenant art direction best. With the smooth contours. Definitely wouldn't work with the rifle and they wanted the pistol to be the sidekick.
I never play this game, but Master Chief is just one of those things that I have to buy in every game.

He is green with a bright gold visor unless your brightness is negative 7 he’s not blending in with shit

@Bell2000, you clearly haven't played in any cheeky way. Also, dark areas like on Hereford. Most of the time, yes, big green man on well lit areas. But in the dark, there is almost nothing bright but his visor
I think you probably need glasses, dude is a big green brick with a golden visor.
Skin is honestly a 10/10. Ubi did VERY good

The first elite skin for sledge was the the first one I ever bought. I didn't real cared for it but this is just 👌.
Imagine if they added a skin for the recruit, but its ODST
Or the Hali 2 anniversary marine armor, it's a very nice looking armor that would match well with the chief. ODST is awesome so would be cool as well but I do love the marine set.
It would have been really cool if they added a halo themed HUD for the skin, like the outlines of the helmet that we have on the games.
Top of the hammer is way too small. Skin is still awesome. Background should have had a Warthog instead of that simple energy cell.

I think it’s because it’s very prominent in halo infinite , I also think the hammer is deliberately small to match the sledge hammer texture

The M590A1 has a Plasma Rifle Pattern which is weird… and I’m pretty sure that the L85A2 has a DMR one…? I know the pistol is supposed to be based off of the Sidekick from Halo Infinite.
wish they made the pistol the halo ce or reach one. i think that looks better than whatever that one is (i think its the sidekick from infinite). But im aware uts a halo "infinite" cross over.

Imagine if you could get double health like the in the form of the rechargable shield if you pick sledge with this elite skin equipped. Except only in r6 it doesn't recharge just gives you double health.

in game walking around makes him look huge and crouched at the same time but i mean other then that being kinda clunky its pretty good
What they should’ve done was have one team be comprised of ODSTs/marines and the other be Rebels. Outside of the terrible show and a few books the Insurrection Era/War is woefully underutilized despite the fact it’s instrumental to so much of the lore.
I know this next part will rub some people the wrong way, but I think of done right a CoD or a Battlefield style spinoff game would work really well for a human on human conflict. If they had multiple games/campaigns they’d be able to show that neither side were truly “good guys” or “bad guys”. Both the UNSC and Rebels had a lot of blood on their hands and committed some truly nasty war crimes against each other.

The shotgun has the the halo plasma rifle skin from halo CE or halo 2 or 3. It's Weird that it has that skin considering it's only for the covenant, but to me, It looks alright, ig.
Now siege and fornite players got master chief armor (skin) before us halo players 💀 however I'm happy for that I guess maybe some will give infinite a try after this

Does the MVP animation work correctly? In leaks + the preview I am seeing in the shop right now, when Chief grapples the hammer, the shotgun comes in with it, then flies onto his back.
@@griffinwik It worked completely fine for me, I was on Chalet tho so there was a bit of clipping through the snow but other than that it's fine

The weapon skins are a little oddly placed. Why does the shotgun have a plasma rifle skin? I mean I guess they wanted atleast one Covenant skin for Sledge's weapons despite the fact that most Covenant/plasma guns don't have any R6 or real world fire arms equivalent but just so that it would make a little sense couldn't they atleast have the plasma rifle skin for Sledge's actual rifle?
Sure that axes the Halo 4 battle rifle reference but I'd be fine with that if they could've done a skin based on the Halo 2 shot gun in replacement.
Also damn that's a baby gravity hammer lol. I get they can't make the head of the hammer too big but it's super tiny with that skin
