Very helpful to remind the viewers and myself not to touch the metal shield/guard near the positive terminal 👍 Otherwise there will be fireworks! Thanks!
Thanks for the videos Stosh. I have some water coming in through a broken seal on the rear tail light which in turn slowly drained the battery. These engineers have such a way of engineering things these days...I mean, who would put the positive lead some close to a metal ground. I'm disappointed in this lack of engineering it being my first time seeing this on my 80 year old mothers car.
Hmmm there shouldn't be any additional holders in place, only the one on top of the battery. Try to look around at the bottom of the battery if something is preventing it from being removed
You're welcome. Hmmm try to remove and reinsert radio fuses and see if that helps. Nothing should happen if you made sure to first disconnect negative battery terminal and then positive. Also when installing new battery first connect positive then negative.
my issue right now is the battery hold down bracket under the PCM suddenly doesn’t wanna fit with the new battery I installed. This is why i’m a ford person. I don’t even rage at my own vehicle like this 😂
Hi, sorry you are having troubles. Most likely you installed wrong battery size so that's why battery holder doesn't fit. Terrain takes Battery Group 47
They definitely made it a bit too complicated. But some cars will have battery hidden deep inside behind the front left tire so at least it's not like that :)
Thank you sir. This battery replacement is much harder than my bachelor degree in computer engineering
You are very welcome. Hahaha I doubt that
Don't feel bad many Phds and Professors could not get that battery out. Rendered EZ due to this video. Its now part of university curriculum.
This video was amazing, simple and clear directions. Helped this 49 year old woman from the suburbs change her first car battery ever!
Glad to help :)
Same here!!! Took less than an hour!!
I watched this video one time and changed my own battery. Instructions were perfect to a T! Thank you!
You're welcome :) Glad to help
Thank you my friend. I have a 2013 GMC Terrain. This was VERY HELPFUL, even to just clean the battery posts. You taught me well. 😄
Thanks for watching 👍
Dominoes lost a customer for life for interrupting this video while I'm trying to change my battery
@BradleySalmonJr. damn thanks for reminding me I'm beefing with Domihoes
Super thorough and easy explanation. Thanks.
You're very welcome
Very well explained, thank you.
You are welcome!
Thank you for making this video, it really helped me out 😊
You're so welcome!

Thank you for this video. You made this a better job from your help.
Glad it helped

Ohh I know. I work with cars and things I see you wouldn't believe me. Every car has its own flaws unfortunately. Some more, some less :)
Thank you my friend. You are a good teacher.
You are very welcome
watched you tutorial and did our battery with excellent knowledge :)
I'm happy to hear that. Thanks for watching :)
was an awsome tutorial. Helped immensely
Glad to hear it! :)
Excellent job! Thank you
You're most welcome :)
...All seems well my friend but time will tell if there's trouble elsewhere. Thank you again for sharing. ⚡💪🏻
No problem and thanks for watching
Extremely helpful, thank you!!
You're welcome!
Thank you so much for the help
You're most welcome
thank you for sharing my friend

Thank you so much

The plate on top of the battery, what does it control? It’s humming.
PCM is on top of the battery. It is the main computer which controls everything on the car
I did all that, but once I pull the battery it doesn't come out. Any idea why?
Hmmm there shouldn't be any additional holders in place, only the one on top of the battery. Try to look around at the bottom of the battery if something is preventing it from being removed
Dont you need to use a memory saver?
Followed this and thank you, but now my infotainment isn't turning on, everything else seems fine tho

THANK YOU!!!
You're welcome!
Thank you

GM engineering is terrible and this has been an awful car.
Thanks for the video
You're welcome. I don't like GMC Terrains either, too many problems especially with 2.4L engine
my issue right now is the battery hold down bracket under the PCM suddenly doesn’t wanna fit with the new battery I installed. This is why i’m a ford person. I don’t even rage at my own vehicle like this 😂

Terrain takes Battery Group 47
Why did a GMC engineer think this was a good idea? Just to be a prick? That's ridiculous.
They definitely made it a bit too complicated. But some cars will have battery hidden deep inside behind the front left tire so at least it's not like that :)
This was very useful... thanks
