I'm looking into getting a BRZ, as my parents are willing to pay for half the car. I want a manual, but they keep saying to get an automatic. Their reasoning is that a manual isn't safe for me (I'm 17), and that since they would borrow the car too, that they wouldn't be able to drive it. What should I tell them?
Hmm, tough position. I wouldn't recommend a BRZ unless it was a manual. Tell them a manual is honestly more safe. If you drive a manual, there are no distractions. You're busy driving instead of looking at your phone, messing with music, etc. That's my honest experience.

Hi Brandon, my brake pedal sounds kind of odd, I've never noticed the clunk noise before. Could you please upload a short video of you pressing the brake pedal while your car is on? I want to think it sounds as it did @7:50, but I am going crazy over here thinking something is wrong.

have you ever tried driving barefoot on these pedals?
One question, why don’t people just go from 5th or
4th to neutral and stop instead of putting stress on your engine by downshifting to engine brake and then to neutral, i see everyone downshift to a low gear and then neutral but I don’t know why
Its not needed. People are crazy. Just slow down the car and just before it halts press the clutch snd move it to neutral or whichever next gear u need. No point downshifting each gear down..
