  • We trek back 25 miles to a hidden pocket brook trout lake deep in the Canadian wilderness to untouched trout waters for a 3 day overnight winter hot tent camping adventure for epic fishing, survival camping, fishing, fires, eating delicious wild caught foods including snowshoe hare, goat meat, and wild brook trout. We'll survive off camp meals like pancakes, but also wild foods and stews to keep us from starvation deep in the wilderness testing ourselves in the face of cold waters, and a near death experience.

Good Video Chris. You and Jeremy make a great team man! The area you were in was cool! The water in the tent was probably not good, at least a good warm tent! Even though the fish were small you seemed to catch several! Jeremy caught a nice size fish, yours was pretty good as well! With the melting water in the tent, did it lower the tent level, it didn't look too bad. Chris, damn man a bit scary their man dropping into the water, glad you're alright man! Good job of not panicking man in that situation! The one Trout trying to eat the other had never seen that before. You guys did a good job, I think! Look forward to your next one.

So when you stay on the ice in a hot tent I made a five foot stainless steel pipe with a 90 degree turn on the end then drilled a hole not threw the ice you have to leave some then chisel groves in the ice to put the pipe in and then set the stove on top to let the water out you do have to cut like six paths to the pipe and drill tiny holes in the pipe and it does work very good it helps keep you from shoveling water out all the time
