The Wooded Beardsman thats y im confused y sir jeremi have a long hair,, god bless ur channel y deserve to make a million views its so educated to much to learn every video that u upload,,
I'm sure everyone that watches y'alls video would agree to what I am going to say!! We love and we cherish each one of the videos that you provide to us. I commend y'all for doing these videos because it provides us with so much knowledge whether it be a video from the past or video from the present each video that you present gives us an opportunity to learn and to acknowledge the Great Outdoors of life outside of the city! Thank you so much guys and please keep the videos going!!
@The Wooded Beardsman Thank you for chairing this majestic trip with us! I enjoyed every second of it. I am truly envious of you, but at the same time happy for you guys to have this opportunity and that you grab it by its gills.
This Documentary Trip of Three Friends was well done. The narrator delivered what he set out to do. I put this video in my top 10 videos. Awesome just Awesome.
We need more people like jarimy and my math teacher, people who actually help the environment and people who have an amazing ability to be organized when most needed, and myself, people who are willing to be open minded but do as much research as possible.
The people that leave a dislike on this video have no soul, this series had me from start to finish, the narratives you added completed it for me and made the parts where you was trekking and had no dialogue have more of a meaning with the stories you told and any facts / information that was suitable for the scene that was being recorded. You captivated my attention and taught me a few things along the way, this has to be one of your finest achievements as a RUclips content creator, or at least in my eyes. Keep up the good work!
I can't stop watching this show! This isn't the kind of content I normally watch, I suggest anyone to give this channel a try, definitely addictive. I am able to live vicariously through them, and they bring me back to my childhood memories with my grandparents up north. Thank you
I enjoy you eating animals because I do the same thing last holidays I went to Canada to visit my family and stayed for like 2 months and went fishing in a lake sorta like your one and caught a few trout but commenly I caught bass
The Wooded Beardsman RUclips obviously likes it because you have 13 maybe more ads on this video. You’re not number one because people aren’t watching you because they have to sit through 3 hours of video and all the ads.
Loved the time I spent watching this. I am in quarantine in San Francisco and this was like a mental vacation. I also loved the poetic narration that gave it truth, beauty and wisdom. Better than 90 percent of what RUclips offers and 100 percent real! Thanks.
Finally, a nature special deserving great praise. You guys did a fantastic job at roughing it and getting along. Showed good friends. Great woods, creek and lake footage. Real nice area.
Aw man perfect thing to wind the day down. Its what I imagine Lewis and Clark's adventure was like but without the constant sickness and with people that actually know what they are doing with proper tools
This Documentary Trip of Three Friends was well done. The narrator delivered what he set out to do. I put this video in my top 10 videos. Awesome just Awesome.
What an amazing video! "A River runs through it" is one of my favourite movies...until now. This should be the Real A river runs through it movie. Being a Natur Loving, Fly fishing Trout loving/seeking addict this would be my dream trip. I enjoy all your videos. They are always top notch! Would love to be able to join you guys on an adventure. Great skills, Beautiful Canadian Nature and 3 Great friends... Im so jealous. Great Job guys. Will be watching this video time and time again. A certain "popular Bush crafter" has nothing on you....Bam Son!! Nice that you are Real Woodsman!! Not Fancy gear, high cost, Guide using Joes!! The Producers of Alone wouldnt let you on because it would be a wash and definatly a Canadian winner. Please Keep videos like this coming. Cheers
As someone who grew up fishing and camping and doing everything outdoors, I'm now stuck in a big city for university. Your content really brings me back to my roots and I can't thank you enough for that!
I've been there Kevin and one thing I wish I had done was try to find some local places to do some nature stuff. But I realize some cities that wouldn't be possible. Make sure you get back to it when you've got everything in order with school, but before career grabs hold, then there is family, so make an excuse. Something I ignored for nearly 10 years before going back.
Right now at that time first cast in the morning you are having the best feeling paddling knowing your going to hook a fish I know you are so excited looking around at the beautiful scenery and the feeling there's a fish every spot you look.
Content, editing, story line and story all mean much more than what fancy camera you're using. Image quality doesn't mean that much unless you're doing an art piece or you're being sponsored. I love what you guys are doing. Keep up the good work!
I grew up in Michigan's upper peninsula. It's beautiful country, much like Canada's wilderness. It's also not quite as densely populated as the rest of the US. Though the products of humanity's destruction is yet evident. My dad tells me stories of how when he was a kid, he was able to pull large trout out of the water with his hands, in creeks that are now all dried up. I can't experience what he did, not nearby at least. Perhaps far off the beaten path, far away from humanity's reach. Though there is something I can say, despite the damage we've done, there's still plenty of fish in our lakes and rivers; native species even. Lake superior is still filled with fish both young and old. Trout still swim in our rivers, native ones, not the ones stocked by fisheries. I feel like we need to preserve all this, do our best to make sure what was here to begin with stays here.
We do, and that's by controlling access, or limiting ease of access. People are people wherever they go. If people suddenly left, the world would come roaring back.
Great video now 1 of my top 5 guys very well done and very educated group of men out there. If I could add a small tip for "tickling brookiez" when there under the bank like that your shadow is #1 keep it out of creek, find a weeping willow branch an the short line small hook they'll set themselfve!! Be safe ontariobackwoodsbuck.
I don't usually comment on these forums, but I felt compelled this time. I had to let you know that I really enjoy all of your videos. This one especially is an enjoyable experience. Please continue to provide your expertise, knowledge, and amazing views of Canada's beautiful scenery.
Had to comment so that you know that 5 years later and you are hooking new fans with this video. Am i a junk fish, prolly, but you got me anyways😊 I stumbled on your season 1 video of the cabin build, few videos later and here i am still. Keep it up! Thank you for sharing this with us. Some of the most beautiful scenery i have ever seen from start to finish. Again, thank you!
Thanks for putting together this amazing feature. I'm 1/4 Canadian and born in Africa. (1/4 Dutch and 1/2 Scot). Wer'e about to emigrate to New Zealand for my Kids and a job (white folk not welcome in Africa anymore). I grew up camping in South Africa, like 40 times a year, but its unsafe and expensive now. Most of my camping buddies emigrated to NZ or Aus. Canada looks like a good option too, just a bit cold in winter (we only have a six week "winter"', three weeks below 10C. Keep 'em coming :)
Well. It took me 3 days to finally watch every second of this video. (I've been busy fishing myself) I'm going to say that your channel has quickly become my top 3 of channels I follow regularly. I have taken in lots of knowledge that either yourself or Jeremy have provided. Jason isn't to shabby either. You guys make a great team. To have a best friend such as Jeremy is a gem. I do things solo for the most part. My family worries. This kind of adventure I honestly would probably end up going alone on because I have a sense of adventure that doesn't end.. That and I would eat the tar out of those perch lol. Please keep the videos coming Chris. Atb Seth. Thumbs up man.
An absolutely sublime visual account, twinned with quite simply the most mesmerising score.... A thousand thanks for uploading the account gentlemen, Best Regards, Gus, Scotland.
I could never duplicate it LOL! Well maybe one day I'll try again, but there was something more striking about this lake when we first discovered it. Actual survival challenges have made us more stern in our approach I think. But this is really about the emotion behind the motivation to explore new areas, something more reminiscent of my youth.
Your movies are the best RUclips has to offer. Keep it up. I’m gonna watch every video you have. I’m from North Carolina and I’m a HUGE fan of yours!! Thanks WB!!
I can't believe I watched this video from start to finish I thought that was very fascinating about the fresh water clams I have never known that before keep up the good work! keep doing what you're doing great video
As many of you are probably know, there was a recent ruling by the CITT and CBSA that changes the way the CBSA will be interpreting the definition of “centrifugal knife.” As you can see here this new interpretation means that the CBSA is considering any knife that can be opened with one hand via a flipper tab or thumb stud etc. as a prohibited weapon. The odd thing about the situation is that knife law as stated in the Canadian Criminal Code has not changed. So unless the police across the country (many of whom own such knives) decide that the border agency’s decision should also affect how they enforce the criminal code, nothing should change within the country. Our current knife laws mostly treat knives as tools and intent of the user is key: if you are using a knife or threatening to use a knife as a weapon, you will get into trouble; otherwise no-one bothers you. There is a movement shaping up within the Canadian knife community to challenge the CBSA / CITT ruling. Anyone who cares about this please take a moment and fill out the link down below to a federal petition (sponsored by a MP) and other ways to support the cause. Whether you are a business or an individual, your input matters. Please take a minute to add your voice! I would urge everyone to visit the link below and support this petition: petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-1552
i love the way you talk about your friends' personalities. i hope someday people will be able to describe same traits about me as how you speak about jeremy. thanks for the upload.
Definitely my favorite video of yours, thanks for putting it all together. I think this video is what had me subscribe back when you first uploaded it. Great how RUclips remembers my spot too.
Wicked, that's a great feature on this long video! I'm torn between making videos in series, and doing the long versions. The follow through rate is so much lower in the series, but it's hard to get people dug into the long videos since everyone is pressed for time. I think this is a good video to throw up on a screen and just let it play in the background.
I like seeing it come out as a series... I like the anticipation of waiting for the next one and it's probably easier for you to do it that way. Releasing it all together some time later makes it nicer to re-watch.
it did reach for something great. this was a wonderful trip. wonderful adventure. i watched it all and it was fascinating! loved it. thank you all 3 for taking me along because i certainly did enjoy it! thumbed up!
I love your content because it kind of reminded me when I was 16 fishing and camping with my dad and brother I remember last school holidays I went to Canada to visit my family and went fishing and went to a place sorta your one I caught like 8 trout in a day but I caught 14 bass medium size camped there for like a day
Your negative are like listening to a Lewis Lemoore video , very good I loved it. I fell asleep watching it and woke up talking to you from my sleep lol.
This is a great video I really enjoyed watching it it really makes you want to go out and enjoy nature something I haven’t done in a long time thank you very much for sharing it
Fun fact. The grit in the clams it’s sand or “dirt” . Aka “mineral s” they say that the natives of our land had healthiest guts and were all around healthier because the didn’t wash everything every time it got a little dirty.
This really is some of the best content out there. Music was perfect, especially for the tranquil moments, I felt like I was right there with ya, enjoying the deafening silence that true wilderness provides. Cheers mate.
That was awesome. I love staying somewhere long enough to have a little separation anxiety when it is time to leave even though it was going to be nice to see home again. Nice adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Tim Richards from Morgantown WV. Just want to say I love your channel and look every day for new uploads. I’ve watched a lot of them several times. I was happy to see the camping in the swamp today. I work subcontracting during the day and stock shelves at night so I check every day when I get up.
Chris, this was fun to watch from start to finish. Great content and the music was a great addition. Definitely a great video. I was excited to see you uploaded today lol. Have a great one my friend!
I love your channel and just love how unlike other RUclipsr's you make long videos that are worth watching can't wait for another thank you so much for making the time to provide me with quality educational videos

We need more people like jarimy and my math teacher, people who actually help the environment and people who have an amazing ability to be organized when most needed, and myself, people who are willing to be open minded but do as much research as possible.
And people who are adventurous like all of you.
And we need more people like the three of you, adventurous, helpful to the environment, and patient and with ridiculous amounts of determination.
We would make so much progress if we had people like what I listed above.

Why isn't this the biggest wilderness living sort of channel on RUclips? It's so high quality made, with the filming and the editing. I mean, come on.
YT doesn't like me eating animals.
The Wooded Beardsman I like you eating animals.
I enjoy you eating animals because I do the same thing last holidays I went to Canada to visit my family and stayed for like 2 months and went fishing in a lake sorta like your one and caught a few trout but commenly I caught bass

Yeah, and I want to go grab some more this summer. We came across so many in my childhood, but never thought to eat them!
My grandfather used to take me brook trout fishing in northern Maine. He would cook the little guys in frying pan heads and all. Delicious!

Great memories man! You're lucky to have those.
informative, soothing, and highly entertaining. a lot of fish as well.
Perfect video and greatly appreciated channel. Taking the “scenic rough route” beats the paved road/footpath any day! Please keep them coming.
Your negative are like listening to a Lewis Lemoore video , very good I loved it. I fell asleep watching it and woke up talking to you from my sleep lol.
Always great. Thanks again man. Good job.
This is a great video I really enjoyed watching it it really makes you want to go out and enjoy nature something I haven’t done in a long time thank you very much for sharing it
woohoo, watching now!
Beautiful job on this video. Wow. I cannot wait to walk in the Canadian hills and mountains.

That was awesome. I love staying somewhere long enough to have a little separation anxiety when it is time to leave even though it was going to be nice to see home again. Nice adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this. Pretty stinking awesome.

Cool man. I'll put it on my watch later

Tim Richards from Morgantown WV. Just want to say I love your channel and look every day for new uploads. I’ve watched a lot of them several times. I was happy to see the camping in the swamp today. I work subcontracting during the day and stock shelves at night so I check every day when I get up.
Good video!
