I just realized a connection with Oblivion and Xion. When Roxas threw his Oblivion keyblade up at Riku and he grabbed it, it triggered memories of Xion. So I am assuming that was her keyblade and it turned into Oblivion. Oblivion: the state of being forgotten, especially by the public. Fucks sake, man.
Actually, It's not Xion's keyblade. It's ventus' keyblade awakened from his heart inside of Roxas, most likely brought out by the trauma from Xion's death. It would have made more sense if it was Xion's keyblade though. It can't be hers though because her keyblade was a copy of Roxas'.

You know, the greatest thing about the Kingdom hearts that all parts of stories is connected. It just awesome to see them connected each story into a great story.

I am STILL angry that not only did the 'remix' for the 1.5 PS4 game exclude a lot of the cutscenes, but it excluded the best one. Roxas having two Kingdom Keys, to show he has both his own and Xion's, then them transforming into the Oathkeeper and Oblivion.
Tony F they probably didn't want to cause any more confusion about where the ability to dual-wield comes from (Ventus's heart/Keyblade). I feel like having two Kingdom Keys heavily suggests that Roxas gained the ability to dual-wield from Xion, but if that were the case, Sora and Roxas could've both dual-wielded during their fight in the Station of Awakening at the exact same time-- Sora using his and Ventus's Keyblade and Roxas using his and Xion's Keyblade. During the fight, though, we see only 3 Keyblades in action and it has already been confirmed that Sora can Dual-wield cuz of Ventus. I'm assuming that only one person can use Ventus's blade at a time, and that Xion's phony Keyblade wasn't inherited by anyone.
Who ? I didn't remember any boss between Riku and Saïx... Riku's battle was pretty good, and wasn't made for filling a plot hole, because after all, Roxas did fight Riku, so it's not a plot hole at the first place. The real plot hole is : why was Vanitas voiced by Haley Joel Osment when he was born ? Ventus wasn't even connected to Sora yet at that point !
Why upload a video in 720p if the internal resolution isn't anywhere near that high? The DS screen's resolution is really low and doesn't improve that much with filters like SuperEagle at 2x size (at least with 3D models in DS games), and I don't think desmume nor no$gba can change internal resolution like Dolphin can (although I could be mistaken about nos$gba since I only use desmume). Is it just 720p for best sound quality?
I was 10 when I beat the game. I cried for a Fucking hour when Xion died, I just sat in my bed and didn't tell my parents why. Then I was super fucking revenge driven, and the only other KH game I had played was RE:CODED and i thought that was set after 358/2 and since data roxas was in there I thought for sure that he would beat the orginaztion....then I played this Fucking mission... I was so pissed on so many levels
I've actually found 358/2 Days to be an enjoyable experience. The Panel System was kind of cool, the combat was fun, and the story really gave some good detail on the Organization. I really enjoyed it.
@@sonomni Cyberpunk graphics aren't the problem, the game is considered bad because it was marketed in such a way it was supposed to be way better than what it is, people really got angry for a game getting delayed for 8 years, promising it would be better than RDR2 (yes, they actually did say Cyberpunk would be as good as RDR2, funny isn't it?) then when it was released it was so... limited and so bad in comparison to RDR2, to be honest GTA San Andreas has a better open world experience than cyberpunk, and let's not even go to the topics about lack of features or Bad Ports for the PS4 and XONE, definetely not a bad game because you still can at least have some fun on it, but for a game that was praised to be the Next generation experience, got pre-ordered like hell and won many awards without even being released in the first place. How can people NOT get mad over it? Cyberpunk also costed CDPR's reputation and they got into trouble because of it... so yeah, Cyberpunk was a flop when you consider it's unfinished state.

I really want a (another) HD collection with ALL kingdom hearts games in them. And yes, even the ds ones. I know that they are outdated and only look a little bit better than n64 games but they're still great games to play. Maybe they could replace the character models with the ps2 ones and make the textures higher res but that should really do it for me.

TBH I dunno why Riku stopped Roxas from defeating the Last of the Organization. Roxas had more than enough power to take them all down (Literally tossed Saix around just to leave without a scratch). But to be fair it was a bit more risky letting Roxas go instead of Sora. If Riku and DiZ's goal was to destroy the organization they should've teamed up with Roxas. And if it got too dangerous to continue they could've retreated.

Right? I used to love playing this game to death on the ds and was quite impressed with all it had to offer despite its limited hardware. Fucking challenge mode where you get to choose a huge variety of characters (including fucking Mickey, sora and riku along and many fucking more on top of the whole organization) with so many customizations for every character (including duel wield roxas) and all the other replayability features it had.

So ven's heart went to little sora, and then the mid teen sora became a heartless for a while to create roxas, then roxas's powers and xion's powers are quire the same, with xion taking sora's (hidden) memories, then the extra keyblade could be from ventus lol (so confusing).
@steelyfanz675 I've always seen it as Oathkeeper representing the promise Roxas made to Xion and Oblivion representing Xion herself because everyone becomes oblivious to her ever existing. He only even gets 2 keyblades because the second one was Xion's keyblade. That explains why Riku's memories were tampered with when he wielded it.
check in mission mode when you make roxas dual wield, i think its the xion where she looks like sora, cause if you look at the sprite face you can see the brown tips of soras spiky hair :O!

the white one is roxas's keyblade, the black one IS xion. Every1 thinks that when xion leaves, she's going back to sora, but they are wrong. i checked in the homepage and it says that she's not going back to sora, but her power and body is getting absorbed by roxas, thats how he has a dual blade
Not asleep, the first 7 days, he was like a zombie, as Axel says earlier in the game. So, on day #358 Roxas decided toleave the orginazation, and was defeated in the process. Those days that were skipped, were just days where he did not have a mission to work on.
@TheBeefyWizard35 I felt the same way, didnt actually cry, but felt like doing so, it was so emotional since we already knew no matter what he was doomed to fail, and you felt for him throughout because of it, that and the discovery of Roxas's true aims and desires at the end point (KH2 left us thinking he was hunting down Sora for answers of his power, but this showed he was after the Organisation and Sora to bring back Xion and his peaceful "life")

I'm just assuming you mean Axel, yes he is a main focus of the story, Roxas's mentor, guide and best freind, this game shows the best side of Axel that was hinted at in KH2, his carefree style, his strength and his loyalty and desire to protect those he called his freinds, even going as far as denying those he had known in his prior life (prior being nobody that is) to protect Roxas and Xion.

After defeating Riku, this is what riku did. Riku: "Why do you have the keyblade?" Roxas: "Shut up!" This is part of a scene that is also from kingdom hearts 2 at the beginning of the game.

It is... Because, if you view the cutscenes on day 357 you see that Roxas sees Sora's face on Xion. So, she is technically him, only part of it, she contains his lost memories. So, when you fight her, she looks like Sora.
The game is almost identical to Kingdom Hearts 2 without the reaction commands (just a lot harder). There are plenty of abilities and combos. And there's a much larger importance in using magic in this game. Riku is a keyblade wielder himself (the original chosen one). He was once able to hold onto Sora's keyblade. He has a strong enough heart to keep it in his grip. Plus, Roxas' Oblivion has a sort of consciousness of its own. You'll have to experience the story to understand what I'm saying.

Ok this version of the fight is actually better cause the music for the end part is better and it’s easier to tell how frustrated roxas is.

Not asleep, the first 7 days, he was like a zombie, as Axel says earlier in the game. So, on day #358 Roxas decided toleave the orginazation, and was defeated in the process. Those days that were skipped, were just days where he did not have a mission to work on.
He left on Day #355.

@TheBeefyWizard35 I felt the same way, didnt actually cry, but felt like doing so, it was so emotional since we already knew no matter what he was doomed to fail, and you felt for him throughout because of it, that and the discovery of Roxas's true aims and desires at the end point (KH2 left us thinking he was hunting down Sora for answers of his power, but this showed he was after the Organisation and Sora to bring back Xion and his peaceful "life")

I'm just assuming you mean Axel, yes he is a main focus of the story, Roxas's mentor, guide and best freind, this game shows the best side of Axel that was hinted at in KH2, his carefree style, his strength and his loyalty and desire to protect those he called his freinds, even going as far as denying those he had known in his prior life (prior being nobody that is) to protect Roxas and Xion.
So some people complains about KH3 having some wholes... but hey

Sure it dose! Remember Tara's connected to Riku just as much as he is connected to terranort excetera. Riku was the one he bequeathed the keyblade to.
It does because Ansem is still a part of Riku and Terra is still a part of Ansem
but if you watch the conversation carefully riku and roxas both say her name i know xion's name in japanese text but what i don't understand is how can riku possibly remember her his memory of her was erased and yet he said her name

I was dying to know how to get the combat tactics roxas uses when he fights riku here but now i realize it could be that using diff. swords gives different combat moves. Is that right? plz reply.
Yeah, that's also creepy and sick because Xion says that she's Roxas and Sora's daughter when she says "I was born from you and Sora" in the Eng version
In the end of kh 358/2 roxas hit Riku's left arm, breaking it and that is why he wears that brace in the end of kh2

It is... Because, if you view the cutscenes on day 357 you see that Roxas sees Sora's face on Xion. So, she is technically him, only part of it, she contains his lost memories. So, when you fight her, she looks like Sora.
basically because 258 days + the 7 days you play as roxas in KH2 make up the 1 year sora is asleep
The music during Riku and Roxas fight is so epic ! Anyone know the title or where I can find it ?
The game is almost identical to Kingdom Hearts 2 without the reaction commands (just a lot harder). There are plenty of abilities and combos. And there's a much larger importance in using magic in this game.
Riku is a keyblade wielder himself (the original chosen one). He was once able to hold onto Sora's keyblade. He has a strong enough heart to keep it in his grip. Plus, Roxas' Oblivion has a sort of consciousness of its own. You'll have to experience the story to understand what I'm saying.

@soraroxas929 Well, he was actually wearing the blindfold because his eyes turned into the colour of Ansem seeker of darkness. That's what Mickey meant by his eyes couldn't lie in Kingdom Hearts 2.
i wish i knew what they were saying in the conversation i know for a fact that they both say xion even after the memories of her are gone i guess that proves roxas can't forget her but i wanna know what made him ticked off

the best thing you can say about Xion is that she's Sora's memories of Kairi and Because Namine is the ( Nobody? ) of Kairi, Xion looks like Kairi ( left part of her hair ) and Naminé ( right part of her hair )
the only people that have keyblades during the KH-KH2 era is Sora, Mickey, and Riku
Xion and Roxas are basically parts of Sora
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days is literally the only game that I actually got the Ultima weapon, or panel ability in that game case.

There is a caveat:
It's an ability panel, not a Keyblade. It boosts attack to crazy levels, but still.
Like Axel said, They have nothing to be yet they still ARE. He basically means that all Nobodies DO exist but they are shells of their former selves.

@DensetsuTito Something to do with being ashamed of himself. His eyes are probably yellow like Ansem's under the blindfold so he covers them because they remind him of what he did while he was being used by darkness in the first game.
@L0c0m4t0n i know that but it shortens the combo so it really does less damage if you do the full combo with the final hit
