I love that the moment you see Riri Williams is when Kendrick comes in with the "we gonna be alright". This moving is processing both fictional and real life grief. We are watching these characters grieve for the loss of their king while we all grieve the loss of a real life king. But we have so many amazing people who were beside Chadwich that are still here to represent him. Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, and now Dominique Thorne. I see Chadwick in all of them and I cant not think about him when I see these beautiful people. Everything is going to be alright.

I'm with you 💯 and I'm so glad to read comments like this. It saddens me (and a bit disgusted) that some Mexicanos in Mexico (I'm emphasizing so not to be confused with Mexican Americans in the U.S.) don't feel the same way. Tenoch Huerta, the actor who plays Namor, and who is presently dedicated in bringing colorism/featurism, classism and internal racism, awareness in Mexico and Latinoamerica, receives so much hate from Mexicanos.
In Spanish news media, a significant amount of comments express so much hatred towards him and the fact that the character was changed from a "Greek Atlantean Namor" to an Aztec Namor. They call him all kinds of racist and political insulting names (sensitive liberal-leftist snowflake) and that the only reason he is in the movie is because of U.S. "forced diversity." As someone who was born in Mexico but has lived my whole life in U.S., I'm flabbergasted and speechless. It's a known fact that American culture influences other nations, but it never occurred to me that uber-political ideologies as well? Wow. I respect everyone 's political views nonetheless, but to hear that some Mexicanos complain about diversity in Hollywood films? Wow. That's a new one for me. Okay, enough of my rant. Now, when one goes overseas, no longer are you seen as someone from a backward background but one from the mightiest of people on Earth. Now, that is powerful!
It is even more emotional as one is subconsciously aware that Chadwick is no more. This is his screen legacy living on! I saw Black Panther twice at the movies and about 10 times after I bought the DVD. I'll probably see this one 3 to 5 times at the movies. RIP Chadwick.

As a latino I'm so glad for this movie. We minorities have had to deal with so many tropes and things to be "better". There's this pressure to not fail. To end the tropes of missing father, ghetto living, education, and so on. But what happens when you work your whole life to do good and be right. You're a present father, a working mother, get that education, sweat blood and tears to "make it".
But then you still have a loss. Still lose a loved one. Still get a door slammed in your face. It's something my mother had to deal with, and I had to deal with when we lost my brother. She worked so hard to get us to where we are. She scrubbed toilets and washed dishes so that her kids will have a better life. And then still lost. That grief, that weight of, "what else do I have to lose?". That was perfectly capture by the queens one line. And then the world still asks for more.
It's a powerful message to all of us that are working to thrive in this world when you're knocked down badly. How do you go on?
How do you really get to feeling that "everything is gonna be alright".
