      @@SaveDareDevil-Mx in the movie they spoke isiXhosa, Nelson Mandela's language. The performance was by Baaba Maal who sang in Fula, a West African language.

      As a Zambian i couldnt help but start shedding tears when he started singing. I love my continent. You never need to understand a language to feel like you're home. Im no big marvel fan but from the trailer to this it just feels so overwhelming. RIP Chadwick.

    We are not talking enough about the beautiful opening. The singer is Baba Maal, he’s Senegalese and he’s singing in pulaar ( Fula ). Is beautiful to see the African culture representate like that ( in this case Senegalese culture )

      @@jessicajohnson4417 That is another problem. What I meant is I don't like American modern ways, where they push inclusivity by putting people of color in west-europe white people's stories. Or exclude some other cultures just because they belong to white folks (not all white folks are western colonizers). What I want is celebration of different cultures. There are so many cool myths and stories from African contint that I'd love to see. And parts of culture that is so rich and unique. This is the first time I see somethint like this comming from the US (maybe I'm wrong because I don't live there, but that is how I see things from a distance).
      It is also hard to explain over a text message. XD

      Well, it's not their real story, as it's all fiction, but better to make movies about original black characters, than replacing whites with black actors.
      Also I would love to watch movies about african stories, cultures and music. Like the warrior womans, zulus, malays and so on. Africa have so much history, they should make their own stories.

    Wow Tenoch’s speech in Spanish hit me. I’m not Mexican, I’m Peruvian, but I understood the message he sent out. You can feel his excitement and that he’s incredibly HONORED to not only represent the Mexican community but Latin America as a whole. I’m looking forward for Namor!

      @@SuperBullaMan Yes blacks are inclusive to others.However,I am not seeing this with Latinos including blacks in anything. Their tv shows don’t even have Afro Latinos on it. I’m not happy or sad to see them included

      @CrustyTesticles please don’t start. I’m Nigerian and my parents came here and worked hard to provide for us. I was bullied in school and called African bootyscratcher by the African American kids. I used to be so ashamed of being African and was traumatized by the bullying that I made sure to learn English and stopped speaking my native tongue that now I can’t even speak it. Black panther has made it possible for many African kids who used to be bullied for being African by y’all to finally be proud of our heritage. Now I can’t stop telling people I’m Nigerian. This is not the place to play victim especially when y’all are not innocent in many issues amongst pocs

    You have no idea what it's like to be a young kid in the 70s reading Black Panther and always picking him as your superhero, and now to see that I got to see that character on the big screen so well played!! I was in awe of Black Panther one and I am sure I will be awed by Black Panther 2!!

      I don’t but as a 90s kid who was never able to get others to appreciate the beauty and magic in the stories these comics had to offer I wanna say thank you for being a part of a generation before who not just stayed a fan but possibly put other people on.       Finished elementary school in the 80s @PS24 Queens. There was not a single chick then or after that was interested in comic books. But now, you see girls spitting comic book lores like they wrote the flippin thing. And cosplaying the characters to death.

      Yesss! Multiverse now in the mcu so I'm hoping eventually we get another T'Challa from another Earth.. T'Challa too Anomaly & iconic to kill off so quickly. He also ties into so many other characters & stories that mcu hasn't even touched on yet. R.I P. Chad who brought that character to life in live action who I believe would've wanted that character to live on in the mcu. Our shuri isn't ready yet for the BP mantle

    I was in tears from Ryan mentioned Chadwick but when Danai mentioned about the merging of our cultures and we as people celebrating each other, it broke me even more. I am Cuban, Jamaican and a proud product of black and white and I am moved and inspired by the evolution on my cultures. I am proud to be present in this era where we embrace each other, as people, as humans, as mankind and not by the colour of our skin or difference in our cultures. United we stand, divided we fall. We still have a far way to go and I look forward to us continuing to evolve as people and I pray for the day that we are free from all sorts of racism and prejudice and fully ACCEPT each other

    You can really tell difference between the two groups after the trailer.
    On one side you have the newcomers who are celebrating,glad to themselves in the movie,happy to be involved.
    But then you have ones in a huddle,who know what this movie means and to know that they had to do it without their King.

I would be happy and excited as well. Not only that, Mexicans are being represented as well which is a huge for the Mexican community. So of course the newer cast will feel differently about the movie compared to the older cast. We/they all know this is about Black Panther.

    I am so stoked for this cast!
    And being Mexicana it brings me such pride to see Tenoch up there!!
    He openly speaks about the colorism and the systemic racism in Mexican media and lack of opportunity for non-fair Mexicans to play roles out of stereotypical roles. So this role in the MCU is breaking glass ceilings and he deserves this and more. He is such talent!!!!! Felicidades ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

      I know they should just create original Mexican characters or used the ones that they have. Also, I don't mind them using the actor but they could have used makeup and CGI to make him look like Namor. If they can make Mr spock they can make Namor. Also he does not have enough muscle definition. Namor is ripped. This is a huge mistake. But look whose directing the movie. A kid who probably never read a comic until he had to read Black Panther.

    Kinda says a lot about Chadwick that this group of people he only worked with for one movie feel this strongly about losing him. I have faith they will treat his on screen loss with the respect he deserves. RIP

    I think an underrated part of all this is Coogler's west coast roots and how he's seen black and brown relations. How that is now expanded on a world stage with these larger than life characters. Something local taken worldwide. And thats just one aspect of so much that will be touched in this film.

      It sounded pretty hype for me? I would hate it if anyone was shouting throughout the performance. And I was afraid that was going to happen throughout watching the video, so I’m glad they only did it at the end.

      I think that most of the people weren't from that culture so they were probably more focused on recording and taking it all in rather than participating 🤷🏾‍♀️ maybe with more productions like this the audience will become more active in it which is the goal at the end of the day

      I’m Chinese American and I wouldn’t expect others to react to a traditional Chinese performance “correctly” without knowing, so if the audience does it in what they thought was respectful especially if it took place in the US, then maybe we shouldn’t take so much offense in it.

    Oh, my heart goes out to the original cast. Leticia's heartbreak and everyone surrounding her, covering her in love. She's had a journey I'm sure. They all have but she's got next and that's a lot of responsibility that she probably didn't anticipate she would have to take up so soon due to Chadwick's untimely passing. I wish I could hug all of them as well. 😢Wish I could have been in the audience to experience such a monumental moment. And damn, Ryan Coogler is so cool asf. What a creative genius he is. I'm so excited for the new cast members too! The movie theaters are going to be too LIT with AFRICAN and MEXICAN representation! I've never seen nor heard of Tenoch Huerta before but that shot of the back of him slowly walking out of the water is EVERYTHANG! 😍He's a sight to behold. Beautiful skin, beautiful teeth! Baybeh!     Letitia Wright was really feeling it at the end there - pretty emotional reveal without Chadwick around, and from the trailer, it sounds like her character Shuri goes through something too. Really excited to see this in November. Namor and the Atlanteans (not sure what the name of their race will be in the film) look badass. Love the Mayan-inspired costume design and the headdresses and jewelry. The initial response has been overwhelmingly positive! I can't wait!

      Thank Coogler as it was his idea to make Namor a native North American. Too often when Hollywood think Latin people, that means fair skinned European heritage Latin people like Diego Luna or Ana De Amas. Coolger had the clout from the first film to demand that he wanted Namor to Mayan or Inca based because these people are never represented as regal not only in Hollywood but also in Latin America. Just as Hollywood only wants to represent Africa as poor or war torn. This movie is going to be huge. Coolger has never made a bad film, he is a genius.

    When i see Chadwick, i see my brother as well still fighting to survive and beat cancer. He's always smiling and giving us hope. Respect to Chad you fought a good fight. I see Chadwick in my brother.

      @@josephkingsford8480 A great deal of the cultural elements that feature are based on real cultures. The place/location of Wakanda may be fictional but the cultural representation isn't.

    That opening, just WOW! Im not sure if that audience really grasped what they were witness to, or if they were just in shock. If they were, I can’t blame them. I know viewing this on a tiny screen doesn’t do it Justice but even so it was still powerful!

    I am crying during the whole video. The cast is amazing and they show their grief and respect without even telling that Chadwick is no longer with us except Ryan. He said all that needs to be said. I believe Wakanda Forever will blow our minds and shape our feelings. Chadwick, I am sure you are watching this from somewhere. You are loved so much and will be in our hearts forever.
