In Missouri the carry age is 19 :)(Campus carry is legal however you can get expelled from the university if caught though sadly). Really I think campus carry is good as long as people do some training. It's not good to carry a gun you aren't any good with good way to cause an accident. If someone is crazy enough to go on campus and shoot a bunch of people they aren't going to care if it's legal to carry on campus or not though, I mean they're already committing murder, so therefore I think it's reasonable for people to be able to carry as long as they have proper training.
Good job, calm rational discussion is the right action to shift this debate from emotion and fear to logic and understanding. Whenever I run into an anti-gunner who seems otherwise reasonable I often aim to get them some hands-on familiarity with firearms, either at the range or on my own property. I'm always amazed at how much a little bit of direct experience can affect their opinions, so far none has come away thinking the same as they did before and at least three of the fifteen or so I've taken shooting have later decided to own a firearm. Ignorance of firearms is the most common underlying cause of anti-gun sentiments on a personal level. Combine a lack of personal experience with a bombardment of media propaganda and Hollywood nonsense and rational people start to hold irrational opinions. We can turn that around, even if it's only one person at a time.
Ill feel safer if I could fight back on a school campus if attacked. A lot of people dont know that criminal behavior happens on campus, including many sexual assaults. So women should have that option as well.

I'm really surprised that you didn't get a bunch of liberal hate considering how liberal UT is for the most part or you did some heavy editing
Buy a firearm and get the training then carry it, because it's your life so protect it....!!!!
Forget that neutral guy lol. There's no argument.
Thanks US Law / Shelly. I'm all for campus carry, weather it be a gun, knife or pepper spray. Carry something to protect your-self.
100% For It! 🤘🏼

It's good to see that the young man could reason through the reality of life 2:47 good for him. 👏

Best idea ever. A gun free zone is a defenseless victim zone.
