Man, this hit me hard 😢 so many memories. My first ever park i went to as a kid. Loved this place.
Realized it's been closed on my birthday too. That wasn't very sicko mode of Burke
Numerous reasons why the park closed was because of declining attendance, the September 11 attacks, its outdated feel, eyesore complaints, high crime, rising property value and conflicts involving off-site parking at Reliant Stadium.
Like coming home from a funeral. You know you won't be traveling that way again. Thanks for sharing
