In 1972 or so I worked as the foreman for the AstroWheel. Just down the street the guys in costumes performed a little dance to this music before people were allowed to proceed into the park. The lyrics rang out each morning all summer and unfortunately stuck in my head for the past 50 years. To anyone else who worked there back then, howdy from Valencia Spain. This is my song it makes me sad that all of astroworld rollercosters and the number 1 theme park in texas it's sad I did not know what astroworld was until I saw the cyclone of thrills video after I wish I could visited this park it should have been my favorite six flags park dang you kirean burk and six flags dang you.
If you ever meet Kieren burke, make fun of him to his face for being a miserable failure of a six flags executive. Make him cry like we all cry for astroworld!
Blame the entire city of Houston for not modernizing the Astrodome, which caused the Oilers to bolt the door. The moment they left, Astroword was doomed, as the loss of such a franchise caused attendance at Astrodome to plummet. The final nail was ultimately Reliant Stadium (Now the NRG Stadium) which caused parking issues.
courtney johnson right, it would be a nice thing about how it was saved, but I wonder if he didn’t do it because Coaster Studios already did one about it (with interviews) so I can see fully why if that was the reason
Two years ago I knew this song off the top of my head since I listened to it ALL THE TIME! I love this song, but I don’t know why, it’s just so nice and refreshing to listen to.
Seeing batman the escape makes me think the years it spent in storage at Dairen Lake even though six flags wanted to reopen it they were in financial troubles at the time which caused them to put it up for sale now of course instead of getting the working components the new owners were told to do whatever they want with it but finally it's gone so yeah a lot of people were glad it bit the dust
Astroworld was better off if Six Flags never brought the park. Marvel Mcfey and his enchanted animal friends were better mascots to Astroworld then Looney Tunes!

I cried when seeing Ultra Twister. So many people I talk to (I live in NJ) remember the ride. Tragedy.
