  • Some of us may be struggling to find creative things to do with our newfound time not having to commute or some of us may be feeling unmotivated and down and have decided to put our 2020 goals on hold because understandably...COVID.
Whatever the reason, making a vision board to help you manifest your dream life is a great way to spend these quarantine days! Who says we have to stop dreaming and working on bringing those dreams to life even at home.
Shout out to my friends Michelle for being the inspiration behind this one and Eric for the flambé (1:04) tutorial.

I'm a big believer in the Law of Attraction, synchronicity and miracles happening that sometimes is beyond comprehension. Whatever you want to call it, defining what's important to us and what we want to achieve is a crucial foundational step to designing the life we want.
I'm not saying a vision board is the answer. It's simply a visualization tool to help you during your morning and evening routines as you visualize the life you want.
Two things I didn't mention in the video but are key to effectively using this tool is to:
    1) During your morning and evening routines, imagine what it FEELS like to be living that dream life right now: What would you hear? Smell? What dominant emotions come to mind? Let these feelings fully envelop you.
    2) Practice gratitude: Starting with a mindset of wholeness creates a positive vibrational energy for attracting what you want. Conversely, if you are coming from a place of lacking, you are reinforcing this belief that you lack X and Y and will continue to see that you are lacking.
I made a video on how to practice gratitude that you can watch here: bit.ly/howtopracticegratitude

Thank you for this fun video! I've been putting a vision board together using canva. It's super fun!
You can get carried away putting loads of things on your vision board. I'm constantly questioning if the picture is specific to what I want or just a pretty picture.

Hee Dee, thanks for sharing this. I can relate so, so much... at the beginning of the video I was like 'ohh.. no.. not a vision board.. it'll only make me feel pressured and I'll feel weird and frustrated in the process'' actually, kind of like your past experiences with making a vision board. So when you started to explain that and talking about the way you are approaching it now.. that made sense to me. It feels like a constructive process now (is that English?), like strong.. and helpful. So long story short: I think I'm gonna give it a try this month :) what ís my vision of 2021? Wait... Am I even allowed to have a vision? Doesn't life just happen? Oh... process is getting started :) thnx again! This could be really empowering.. !

Maike! So what I'm realizing having completed this is that it is a constructive/iterative process meaning you're allowed to keep changing as you see fit. I'm even still questioning some of the stuff I put down to get to the root of why I want those things and to ensure it's coming from a pure/selfless/higher place rather than out of greed/lust/self-serving desires...I think that's why I stayed away from vision boards all this time until now...if you're up for it, give it a try! If it doesn't work out, you're still walking away with more self-knowledge and that in itself is empowering! Let me know how it goes! :)

Am I somehow broken that this project didn't appeal to me at all? Like, I know (roughly) some of what I'd like to achieve, but this project was just a solid nope in my mind.
