When Felicity's college scandal broke out i couldn't help but find it hilarious because that's totally something Lynette would've done for her kids, reverse method acting taken too far
I know what Felicity made was wrong but that doesn’t take away that she’s such a fantastic actress. Her character was my favorite on the show along with Bree.
Same here. Bree was my favorite character but Felicity was for sure the best actress. There’s a reason why she’s the only one with an Emmy (alongside Ms. McLusky)
The Vanity Fair cover shoot sounds like an actual episode of the show 😂 i can just imagine Bree and Susan behaving that way Love how their IRL personalities are so similar to their on-show characters
@@singstreetcar5881 Same. Especially since she was basically considered a main housewife in all the promos and photoshoots for her last couple of seasons.
After Season 6, Susan moves out of Wisteria Lane. Her storylines from that point on are almost completely separate from the other characters. Any time they are “together” you never see all the characters in one shot. This is particularly the case when they are playing cards. Terri’s stand in (filmed from behind) is used in the wide shots to give the illusion that she’s in the scene with the other characters. It’s filmed well so you don’t really notice but I assumed at the time that this was due to the feud between the cast
@@curiouscase0075yeah they obviously had to be in the same shot at times but at other times if they could film their scenes separately they absolutely did so, must have been a nightmare for the director
I never knew the ins and outs of the Vanity Fair shoot, but by the sounds of it, Teri wasn’t the issue. It sounds as though Marcia Cross is the one who created a lot of drama and that may have continued until later seasons which is why Teri felt she had to distance herself from it. In 2006, which is after the Vanity Fair shoot, you can see Teri applauding Felicity Huffman’s Golden Globe win, which makes me wonder.
Desperate Housewives is my all time favorite show. I just recently started rewatching all of it again and i’m at Season 6 now, so this video came at a perfect time 🙏
@@singstreetcar5881 not really. Eva is great but she was nowhere near the level of the other 3. I got teary eyed every time Marcia, Felicity or Teri cried on the show. I laughed out loud whenever Eva did.
I used to love this show. So disappointed to find out this ladies were acting the way they did behind scenes! The one who came out as a jerk in the Vanity Fair photoshoot was Marcia.
Oh, these good old days...they don't make such shows anymore, unfortunately. I had no idea of how difficult the process of shooting for Vanity Fair was. I continued watching Eva on "Devious maids" - same vibes but with Hispanic flavour😍 Now, Matt, let's get serious - where are the reviews of DRDU??? Your drag mother is on it, show some grace! Thanks for the video and wish you well:)
That’s the vibe I’m getting now, to be honest. Though Marc Cherry’s letter supporting Felicity is the only thing that contradicts it. There was an instance on Tomorrow Never Dies where Hatcher and Brosnan briefly feuded due to her turning up late. However, when it emerged she was pregnant and that was the reason she would run late, he apologised and they made up, and he later went on to say his scenes with her are among some of his favourite as Bond. Despite her saying she didn’t take any special satisfaction from playing a Bond girl, she looked back at her experience quite fondly on Inside the Actors Studio from memory.
I honestly believe Nicolettes claims, his explanation of "tapping her forehead" is weird AF and a little card brainstorming possible story lines doesnt really prove anything
People sure are obsessed with women fighting. When men disagree, we never hear about them doing that. Maybe they had some disagreements over that many years lol
Not really a shock but when Kathryn Jooston said Teri was the nicest or the only one that was nice to her. I was just like hah i Knew she was the nicest.. She will always be my Lois Lane. Just because she thought the other women were bitches doesnt make her evil. But the media over blow everything. And if ur feeling someone's ignoring u and have these already mixed or bad feelings about them. Its gonna make u dislike them more. But i got it in college. Lol it's like chill , u dpnt even know me lol And really, you TOTALLY CAN forgive Teri for acting like a diva and thinking it was her show. Because thats how EVERYONE, everyone, was putting it. As Teri Hatchers huge comeback. Or her second chance. And the media as you can imagine , went wild with that story. So they were both validating her and putting immense pressure on her to have a great comeback. As you can tell , when this gay boy loves his lady celebrites ITS FOR LIFE. Teehee. i love Vanessa and Marcia. Hello Melrose. But Teri. She was freakin Lois Lane. Lol And im sure they all had their diva moments. Teri to me is like Shannen Doherty. RIP. This was as juicy as an actual episode of the show. We definitely need a Lifetime movie based on all the events in this video, starring Tori Spelling as Teri Hatcher

@@kelfincher5232 I love Terri but for some reason i cannot stand Susan’s character either. It didn’t help that they forcibly made her have more screen time or more importance than the other 3.
@@jahleillewis1743 Right? Like, while Bree is sleeping with a younger man and Lynette is kicking out her adult sons from the house, Susan is losing her kidneys and doing semi-p0rn for money.
Catherine sounds pretty sanctimonious and entitled. Your co-workers don’t owe you friendship. And it’s none of her business what they ate for lunch. She seemed desperate to humble younger, more beautiful, more famous women and was pissed that she didn’t succeed 🤷🏻♀️

The actress that played Mary alice deserved so much recognition.
Her narration at the end of each episode was magical
She really brought every episode together!

She did do it on show "kinda", she tried to bribe a kid on baseball to let her kid win or something lmao
That's probably how she got the idea.

One of my fave shows! The drama surrounding this show was so juicy. Thank you for this vid Mat!!
Every season has 24 episodes.
They don't make them like these anymore
Imagine games of thrones having 24 episodes every season
More videos like this please! I loved that show
Kathryn Joosten said Teri Hatcher was the only one who spoke to her and made her feel welcome. She said the other three were all a bitchy clique.

Eva was great with comedy... but in any drama related to her kids (the miscarriage, Grace, the stupid doll, etc.) , she wasn’t that convincing.
I just watched this again on Hulu! It’s so good!

About the photoshoot, sounds like the “enabler” was stirring up the drama and being unprofessional
Teri hatcher was so beautiful in Louis and clark
LOVE THE CONTENT
I loved Despo Housewives! But I think it had defo run its course a while before it ended
Or, they were mean and ostracized Terri Hatcher. Has she been shown to act like this in other instances?
I think this is the real scenario. Teri was just a loner, nothing wrong with that.

Probably why she ended up with “Tripp”...

I’d be willing to bet that Terri Hatcher is difficult to wok with. Treating others like they’re below you is just vile.
