One thing I like about Chrysler their digital speedometer never skip number
Certain car some of their dashes skip number like hell
@@reallymakai porsche turbo s!
Yeah I hate when cars speedometer skips. Even on the hellcats if your spinning your tires they still don’t skip they say the exact speed even thought it’s changing rapidly
That’s because they’re so slow lol no need.
@@hse6144 the demons slow?
I love how FCA's digital speedometers show every increment. I wish all digital speedometers were like that.
Justin They weren’t like that on the 4th gen RAMs.
Have a simple system without too much fancy animation, else the refresh rate is just too low. I was test driving a bronco and the cluster is like 5 fps, bronco do 0-60 in about the same time, but try refreshing that screen 60 times in 7 second. On many newer fca with full digital cluster its also slower.
The Pentastar sounds and performs wonderful!
It's a POS. Bad design. The pentastar that is. They tweaked it over the years but you are pretty much assured to pay for expensive repairs like water pumps, radiators, hoses and gaskets before the 100 miles mark. And that's if you dont offroad. If you off-road you will do all those atleast twice before that mark. Yes given many people offroad stupidly, they dont drain their liquids, but the overall design is bad. It's extremely vulnerable to contaminants entering the system. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very unique vehicle with an amazing resale value, just be aware what you are getting into. Im buying the 2.0T (quite a good little engine actually, the 2.0 that is not the 2.3) still on warranty and I plan to resale it way before I'm passed that bumper to bumper warranty. If I get a few amazing roadtrips and unique experience from it I would probably gladly switch to a newer model by 2023 but honestly, I'm just in it for the resale. Was either this or a 4 runner. I figure I'll save on gas with the turbo :) Good luck and may you enjoy some off roading no matter what :)
If you don't mind the extra gas money get yourself a 4runner (or a Frontier 2016 and up) and live stress free. lol. Seriously.
PatTheRiot well actually the v6 is actually a good v6 if you compare it to the other American brands like ford ecoboost and chevy v6 and the pentastar is actually a good engine I had it in my family rental car witch was a charger and it was quick and fast and it was able to keep up with the older m series coupes lol but it was good on gas
PatTheRiot the 2.0T is also a bad engine if you look on tfl car they had there jl jeep repaired before it even it 10 k miles because the engine had a lot of issues.
@@coolsquad7428 Every other American major manufacturer has a bullet proof naturally aspirated V6 on their lineup. Even better V8's like the coyote or the 6.2 for chevy. Turbos are just a trend, they don't really make you save anything they just cool gadgets who make you spend your saved gas money on maintenance and repairs. A good naturally aspirated is very economical if you drive it properly and it can give you the power you need when you need it. That being said the future is electric and hybrids are already alot more interesting with plug-ins and the power-up it gives to smaller engines so it seems jeep is dead. They failed to join the race in time, didnt even release that promessing electric jeep yet...
high-speed and off-road - awesome car
I had this engine in a Grand Cherokee. Very fast and sounds great. Always in the right gear too.
Very well done.
That was cool 👍
Im not a Jeep guy but dam!! That thing move fast!! 👍
1:04... didnt expect some wheelspin!
I can one wheel peel 1st, 2nd, 3rd. But now i think the differential is upgraded to rear axle locker haha.
My 2014 hyndai sonata 2.0 does a wheel spin
Launched mine today
The Jeep’s top rev reminds me a lot of the Dodge Viper’s
Beat one of these in a 20 yr old Supercharged regal lmao. Not by much more than a car length or a bit more but they're quick for being a jeep.
I need one
The only thing which disappoints me , is its NCAP rating. 1 star? Like what?
Great off-roader anyways.
I'd have bought the wrangler if its Crash Test ratings weren't shit.
its fine in a crash but it like to flip and roll. you should drive this like a motorcycle.
Someone knows how to make the gear number of the gearbox visible on the display. Thanks
Yes but only in manual mode
@@rileykaminskas2440no you can turn on the gear number while not in manual mode
I prefer the Pentastar v-6 over my old wranglers 4.0 I-6.
I'm more of an I6 guy, but that V6 is no joke. My grandpa had a Rubicon 3.6 and it would get up and go
Is this Jeep totally stock under the bonnet?! Pretty darn quick
oem stock
Armand Couture that’s slow as fuck
@@ElephantWhisperer222 What you think it is? Some sports car?
Jordan Keith Williams We got fullsize trucks they haul ass to 60 under 5 seconds.
Necrotic Reaper like the ford f150 raptor
limited to 3,000 rpm?
oh f*ck!! I want to own this car even more..
50k
Nah you don’t these cars are lemons. Swapping mine this week can’t wait
@@coismazhu 39k now for a 2019
The 3.6 will be missed when it is gone. Very decent engine overall.
Luckily i don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon. They are testing it for use with hydrogen.
Sounds like a VTEC
2door or 4door?
M Baja 4 door
How many do you see?
@@bozzyb7109
I see 4 door. But is it a 2 door or a 4 door???
I think my Tiguan has it... LoL
I would be surprised keep Jeep wranglers are not designed for speed
E.J. Freestone no stock VW Tiguan would beat this in a straight line..
@@DoSum4Me I'll keep the VW it doesn't have Fiat influences.... Fiat the only company that can ruin a Jeep !!!
@@ejf0255 New Jeep Wranglers are fantastic.
@@WilliamStewart1 You mean after they fixed the frame rail issues. Fiat at it's best.
i just got 6.4 0 to 60 on.my 2.0
Same here
Sorry I puked a little when I saw Sahara.
Are jeeps still extremely unreliable because i know for a fact for a long time they were
Jeep wranglers have always been pretty reliable, but the new JL's are questionable, i would a JK with the 3.6L, less technology
That engine sounds like aids. However, undeniably a great 4x4!
Get your ears checked
My f150 blew th doors off one of these things, idk whybhe thought he could take me lol
as long as you're happy
i own a jeep and i'd say yeah it's easy to blow the doors off a jeep, it's shaped like a filing cabinet lol.
