Hey folks! I recorded this a while ago, but life happened and disrupted my RUclips rhythm. I lost my cat, Aki, who has appeared in numerous videos over the years, a little while ago and it’s been a struggle to get back into the swing of things. These days, I’m not really a RUclipsr so much as I am just a guy who occasionally makes videos for the handful of people who still watch them. Thank you for still being one of those people, despite the odd starts and stops. For whatever it’s worth, I’ll probably be making videos, however irregularly, for a long while. Just sometimes… your best cat friend dies and you have to take a break. Thanks for waiting.
So sorry for your loss man, take the time you need, we arent going anywhere! Taking time to mourn and to live is more important for sure. Your mental health takes priority. As a cat owner, i wish you the best and thanks as always for your awesome videos 🥺💜
I have been sorry to hear your friend died. Glad to hear you're giving yourself time to process it. I hope you'll soon fondly look back on memories with him without most of the pain.
I lost access to my old RUclips channel, and for the longest time I couldn’t remember the name of your channel because I stepped away from enjoying RUclips content during college. I’m so happy to have randomly been struck with the name of your channel, and see that you are still making videos. The culture of RUclips has changed much over the years, but your intelligence and joy when it comes to this hobby has always been what makes you one of my favorite video game RUclips channels. That and our shared love of handhelds. Thanks for creating!
Quite the impressive collection! Great to hear your thoughts on these games. I don’t have 95% of my GBA boxes anymore, thanks to my teenage self throwing them out, and it’s too expensive to amass a new collection. Alas, you talked about some of my favorites. I can’t tell you how much time I spent on Golden Sun. Such a classic.
As a kid I only really paid attention to the big Nintendo names and stuff my friends have so looking back at the library and seeing stuff like MOH, Jet Grind, or Kingdom Hearts represented is sort of a trip.
I've got both Golden Sun games displayed front and center on my GBA shelf so I can enjoy those incredible covers every day! I am very sorry for the loss of your cat, and I send you my condolences and greatly appreciate the time you took to put out this video Craig.
Good question! I started those at a time when I wanted to make SOME kind of video, but also, if I’m being honest, not put too much effort into it. And because I have such a huge DS collection, it seemed like a natural fit. But ultimately, I didn’t find them very creatively satisfying. I’ve been looking for some kind of common ground: Something easy but also interesting and satisfying. Do you have any suggestions? Maybe top 10s for the DS or something? Like, top 10 DS RPGs or something like that. I’m open to suggestions.
You’re one of the first RUclipsrs I would watch for inspiration for my GBA collection, back when I was 16, 7 years ago now, oh how I would envy the size of your collection all those years ago. With the help from your videos I have managed to grow my collection to 69 boxed games! Thank you!!
I'm glad to see you still upload every once in a while. I remember your context matter series really made me realize why I appreciate certain games in ways others don't.
GBA for me, Metroid Fusion, Advance Wars, Castlevania Circle of the Moon, FF 1 & 2, and most importantly Fire Emblem. I was so fortunate to experience these games when they were new and they are still very playable and enjoyable. they've aged really well and I definitely want to add some games from this video to my collection
I really need to pick up Golden Sun someday. I've been saying it for years; I even watched HCBailly's Let's Plays, but it's just not the same as actually playing a game yourself. It's just so hard to find time for every single game that I "need to pick up some time."
Excellent collection with a ton of heavy hitters. With values skyrocketing lately, you've got gold on your hands. I know you mentioned that it's difficult to replace boxes now because of this, but you can take pride in owning so much of what you like already. By the way, have you tried Rhythm Tengoku? Highly recommended if you haven't! One of my favorite GBA games ever!

23:00 there's actually a Tomato Adventure fan translation that came out this summer, I think it's by the same guy who did the Mother 3 one so it should be pretty high quality.
I agree with what you say about M&L on the 3DS for the most part, but I think Dream Team honestly looked great. The visuals in the dream world were really colourful and inventive and what Good Feel achieved with the giant battles still lowkey blows my mind, I think Dream Team is one of the best looking games on the 3DS as a result. Paper Jam and the two remakes though? Those all look pretty flat and lifeless to me with pretty drab colours and uninteresting sprite work. I just feel like people often unfairly lump Dream Team in with them, but it's probably because it all kind of melts together in peoples minds when they look back on the 3DS M&L games.

New to the channel but great collection! Little jelly about some of them. Only have a select few GBA games in the box.

Hahaha that is the absolute correct reaction to the Golden Sun box art
I always find out about games I hadn't heard of before whenever I watch your videos. Beautiful collection.

Always good to see a new video from you! Super Mario World 2 may be my most played game on the system. I played it all the time as a kid.

Another great collection video.
Nice collection. I'd prefer to have all my games boxed but with prices these days that's just not possible.
