The fact that you still bring up the Louvre game to this day in some of your videos is the exact reason I wanted you to have it. I saw it more as a gift than a trade, I never once felt like I got ripped off, haha! You are the biggest handheld collector I know, and I simply wanted you to have it in your collection.
I’ve recently went to Louvre and it’s fun to see many people with 3ds around using it as the guide. Also, I’ve asked in multiple gift stores in the museum and they all said they don’t have the game to sell anymore. So maybe it’s even more of a collectible now.
In terms of unique 3DS games I always think of Nazo Waku Yakata from Capcom. It used positional audio to create a super moody atmosphere and had you using pretty much every feature of the 3DS. Obviously I wish it wasn't exclusive to Japan so I could understand more of it but I get why it was left there given all the voice acting and stuff.
Love the 3ds content. I have the pokemon silver and gold boxes too. You said they didn't put as much effort into making them look like the original boxes but believe it or not that is very accurate to how they looked in the UK on gbc from my memory. Hadn't heard of a few of those Japanese titles, you can always find something unusual lurking in the Japanese exclusives of a system. All the best, thanks for the video
I don't know if I have anything you would call unique in my 3DS collection, but I appreciate you showing us the wild games that are out there in your collection Craig!
School Days is a bit bizarre. Before anyone comes in with the schadenfreude to spoil some of the eccentricities of the anime, I'd say just keep clear and naive of it. It's not any kind of depraved sex-type anime, just some rather over-the-top plot
Always look forward to any new content you put out Craig regardless of the video title your videos are always calming, insightful and informative! Thank you for making them for us. For anybody interested E.X. Troopers does have an English fan translation on 3DS (can't tell you where but Google is your mate) so if you have a modded 3DS or comfortable emulating then that's always an option. My pick would be KOKUGA which is an interesting top down shump + twin stick shooter where you drive a tank that looks similar to a Techikoma from Ghost in the Shell.
Well, /I/ found them unique and interesting :D A nice variety of reasons for those descriptors too. I did indeed pick up Dream Trigger for $5, tested it to make sure it was working, was confused out of my mind, and didn't pick it back up, lol.
Ah, very nice. I'll look into Dream Trigger. I got the Louvre guide from the French amazon actually. It would be kinda fun if they only sold it at the Louvre, but they don't. I love that DQXI edition. Damn. Regarding games with weird additional items, I heard about a DS game that came with a blood glucose meter. I haven't seen it for sale ANYWHERE though. Now that I think about it, maybe I'd seen it in one of your videos. That's usually the case when I fixate on a hard to find game.
Interesting video! Been thinking about picking up a Japanese 3DS here. I got a 3DS years ago in the states and only played a couple games. Some of the heavy hitters now are actually pricing me out, but the Japanese versions are dirt cheap. Since Japanese isn’t an issue for me, this video inspired me to pick one up I think.
Great video. Speaking of AR games, Virus Shooter XX is an intersting Japanese exclusive. Its very similar to Pokemon Dream Radar. Pretty cheap too. I think surugaya lists for around ₩1000 or so
Very, yes I will say interesting and unique games I love to hear about on the 3DS. Great job Craig. Just wanted to say Hi really and I loved the video. Hope you're doing well and I will catch the next one. :)
In regards to that One Piece game, you could definitely buy it at Gamestop (perhaps exclusively from what I recall) Thats where I got mine... assuming it would be more valuable. Jokes on me.
Yeah another commenter mentioned they got theirs at GameStop at well. I could be absolutely mistaken. I just remember ordering it directly from Bandai, but who knows! Too long ago. And yes, it’s definitely worth way less than I thought it would be worth by now
Always appreciate a good 3DS topic from your channel. Favorite gaming system by far. Keep the dream alive!!!

I’ve had that in my to-buy list for a while now! I should probably pull the trigger

I love it! Lots of cool stuff here! I have the Louvre game too - picked it up when I was in France a few years ago and glad I did!
I'll watch your videos regardless of how you decide to watch them! Been watching you since 2010!

Been collecting 3ds games and consoles recently. This is perfect for mem thanks Craig!
Awesome unique recommendations, Craig. I will be checking out some of these for sure, especially as someone actively building my 3DS collection.

Thanks! I've been looking for more interesting 3DS games to try!
Onepiece romance dawn was a gamestop exclusive I believe. I picked mine up there back in the day
Ah ok! I feel like I ordered my copy from Bandai Namco, but I could absolutely be misremembering. Maybe it was available from both?
That Louvre game/guide is fascinating.
I’ll always click on your videos even if they have interesting in the title lol
Sol, you are indeed my boy
Few RUclipsrs have as my organic knowledge as Craig. Makes for interesting viewing!

If you have custom firmware, EX Troopers has an English patch. The translation is super Engrish making it hilariously fun to play!

If you have a hacked 3ds, theres a english patch for the Ex Troopers.
The problem with One piece is that there are just not enough pieces. I require TWO pieces.
Very nice !
