i liked it a lot i think dabo is 100%% right. 12 10+ win seasons is remarkable. sure we are 4-4 but so what. there are teams that are 0-8. ill still keep watching and enjoying supporting the tigers!
What he's talking about happens to teams with a history of winning... FSU, UF, Alabama, Ohio State. This is nothing new or unique to Clemson or Dabo. I’m not sure why the radio show couldn’t screen the callers better. “What is your EXACT question for Coach Swinney?” Etc. Also, I’m no Dabo apologist, but I can’t think of any Coach that wouldn’t be put on the defensive by that line of questioning. Nick Saban would have put up with that for about 30 seconds and then chewed his face off, lol. I will say that Dabo talking about his past resume falls short in the present. Many folks like myself thought hiring a WR coach was cheating out and they should get a proven coach. (And we were wrong) But he made the statement to lifelong fans and alumni that “ If you’re not all in get out, we don’t need you”! That statement still gets under my skin just because we questioned a hire! That being said,money paid to Dabo is well spent. In this case I think both the caller and Dabo were being childish.
