I've had this exhaust for over a year on my N54, always gets compliments. Only thing I added the next day was a Vibrant resonator where the secondary cats use to be because the drone and rasp sounded like shit lol. You can hear what is sounds like on my dyno run video on my channel. I want to get better sound clips but video doesn't really do it justice.
my dream project, but with a real transmission , 6mt. I have the receiver E91 since 2019, sport + navi + 6mt ; step 1 is done . Trying to find a donor 335 and find time.
@swap depot Check the BOV when the car is idling. you might just have the wrong spring rate if its open during idle you got too soft of a spring. Mine did the same thing on my auto until I changed the spring out.
also for everyone that doesnt want a vrsf exhaust, i have the beluga racing catback and it sounds hottttt. got it for i think 580 after shipping and taxes and its perfect for my upgraded twins.
Please cover what the "DUCK SOUND" is and why it's happening on the car. I have this problem as well and my car is a X drive car so if it's a problem with the way the inlets were installed I will not be happy as it's such a big deal to reach the turbos for any reason on it. But I gotta know why it's doing this. Please! Love the videos!! Thank you! I think it sounds like baby owls or baby seals lol.
please do a VRSF straight pipe with One vibrant resonator, Budget Bimmers was the only one to ever run this setup properly, gotta see it on this sick ass E91
Lol my 148k mile stock turbos with 2in inlets have been doing that stupid duck noise the past 5 years and I thought it was normal (only the noise when you let off). Just heard the last part I missed earlier 🤣 When I put the stock airbox back in the noise goes away so I'm assuming it's because of the inlets. I smoke tested the inlets multiple times in the past and there are no leaks either. I'm also using a tial q bov with 11lbs spring connected to the intake manifold with bigger line so I don't thing it's the bov. If you find any fix for that noise please let us know, it's embarrassing lol.
I have the same sound lol, same bov and same spring. I think its just the way those silicone inlets sound man. My friend has relocated steel inlets and he doesnt have the duck noise
On that Diff ratio you mentioned, if it's a DCT car, swapping diff ratios will trigger issues, but on the auto haven't seen it trigger any faults. I blew my 3.46 stock diff on my e92 n54 6at (the inner housing that holds the spider gears cracked in half), then as an emergency temporary solution, threw in the beefier diff and axles from the 335D e90, the ratio on that is 2.81! Talk about long ass gears! Drove it like that for a week then swapped it back to another 3.46 stock diff. But didn't have any issues... Other than a weird feeling as if I'd lost a gear.. since I'd be driving in 2nd while usually I'd be in 3rd or 4th lol I'd probably swap the 3.15 or 3.07 in it but the 2.81 is waaaay to long of ratio! On DCT cars it uses wheel speed and engine RPM for calculating what gear to be in. But the 6HP has its own speed sensors internally.
I’m surprised you didn’t get the noise after flipping around the center support bearing. From my experience those break easily and eventually wear out the Guibo lol Question: In the long term wouldn’t it create rust if I don’t install the heat shield? I find the driveshaft heat shields so annoying but I always put them back because I’m afraid of rust in the long term …
@@SwapDepot Also I just checked my Center support bearing and mine is installed the way you originally had it. Which is consistent with other Center support bearing replacement videos on RUclips for the 335i . Are you sure that’s the correct way ? Just asking so I can flip mine as well 😂
Have you guys had any experience with Vrsf 1.75” inlets collapsing? I’m getting a noise that sounds like turbo leak, I still need to check the couplers to the intercooler, but I swear I can hear it like it’s coming from the rear turbo inlet. Sounds like it’s right on the other side of the firewall. Will be checking couplers soon to the intercooler but I was just wondering in case it is the inlet. Also the inlet is still on the turbo so it’s not from the snout of the turbo.
@@VehicleVirals want to order them but i move September 10. Will they be here b4 i move? And keep up the great work you’re the reason i have a 335i now!

I was sitting in a Popeyes drive thru tryna get my pop-on and i swear i thought a marching band was rolling by only to turn and see an Infiniti trumpeting down the road... disgusting
I guess if the person that install it is new to cars and always known it. Jess runs 5.0 especially if no gauge. Yesterday I was beside a charger it sounded good and I'm not a fan on American cars. I have a neighbor with a loud car and every time he leave early or late at night. I feel like going out there and break all his window. I don’t see why people do this, inconsiderate bastards. Do they need attention, mommy don’t give them enough attention in their life?
You’re a master at your craft brotha. Loving these repair/mod videos. Can’t wait to see what you have planned. Thanks bro
The last 2 clips had me crying that sounds so crazy/interesting, hopefully it’s not some crazy fix! Ali you’re the man
as for the "duck" BOV, get the lightest spring for it, and the vaccum line from the manifold needs to be bigger. :)

bruh wagon builds are soo 🔥 there so unique only a handful of them done right on RUclips.... definitely going to be a contender 👍
Ali-Haust is back at it
I’m wondering where’s the shop to visit! Loving the videos and performances 😂
That same sound happened to me when my inlet came off
I threw a e92 m3 factory exhaust on my 335i full catless. Love the way it sounds

Love the sound of the bov. What setup is it?
You guys need to hear an equal length n54 manifold. Its the new must have on n54.
I've found nothing on twins sounds better than PE mod primary catless with secondary cats still in place. Once you go single it sounds better
Nice. Greetings from Mexico
Sounds much much better. Nice homework
forever in the market for an e91
Hard to find good ones
This wagon is going to be 🔥🔥🔥!! Does this VRSF street exhaust fit the E90 Xdrive 335i ?
Sounds good. I like the VRSF race exhaust with vibrant resonators a lil better though
