They are intelligent, they rock, they are great role models, and they are incredible musicians and song writers. I could go on all day, I have seen them so many times I lost count. My first Rush concert was the Hemispheres tour 1978-79. They retired but I have great memories and their music is still the soundtrack to my life.

A HUGE part of why Jamal gets RUSH is because they have an amazing groove, and he's seen the result of that same groove sampled over and over and over in hip-hop. I think the world is begging to realize just how amazing Rush was/is. t
Wish I could be listening to these rush songs for the first time again!!!! I’m jealous of your first time reactions..... brings me way back to my first rush experiences
I just spent an entire weekend watching your videos of several different bands and genres of music. What an amazing person you are. And a great reminder that being open minded can lead to much happiness. Thank you for all that you do.
Please listen and respond to 2112 , it’s 21 minutes of sensory overload experience. This tune set them apart from the rest of the performers in the 70s, and launched them great tune about individuality
So glad you reviewed this one. This is one their hidden gems that so many people don't even know exists. The musicality, the transitions and the lyrics are just phenominal.
Comparing the universe to a tidal pool, macro and micro, the message contained after all these years, still resonates with me. The intro.... then the sledgehammer! A favorite Rush song for sure.
Thank you, thank you so much for bringing Rush out into the spotlight. This band has been the soundtrack of my life since 1982 when I discovered them. Your videos and the comments left usually bring tears to my eyes. Thanks again man!
Watching your reaction brought a huge smile to my face. I flashed back to my first time hearing this at 12 years old. The deep almost philosophical lyrics about the need mankind to find a balance in an increasingly technological world. Much the same as man had to learn to find balance in the natural world. Hence "Natural Science". The time changes are insane and the complexity of the music intertwined with these profound lyrics of mankind's need for balance between the physical and the metaphysical.
Not only do I like watching a person discover Rush and their lyrical genius for the first time but i like watching the reaction on your face when you hear the meaning of the lyrics and the instrumental transitions within a Rush song. Would have loved to take you to see these guys live. They were just as good....... no great live as on a studio recording.
Another great flashback jam... First time I heard this... I was 5-6 yrs old. Back in 1981.. A year or so after they dropped the Permanent Waves album. I asked my parents for a 8-Track of this (at the time), ended up with a cassette later..
Dude, watching you have the same reactions that I had 25 years ago when I first heard this song makes me so happy!! I've been to all the tours since Test for Echo in '96, and I'm heartbroken that I won't see Neil play again.
I laugh because I remember when I used to get weird stares for years and years when I jammed out in my car listening to Rush. Now people are finally getting it. The obligatory drumming on the steering wheel.....
I’ve never seen one of your episodes before, but I loved seeing someone experience Rush the same way I did when that album was released. I’m a 51 y.o. white male and have been a Rush fan most of my life. It gives me great enjoyment to see you enjoy this. Sometimes, sadly, I think there is more racism now than when I was a teen in the 80s. You restored some hope by your honest and objective view of a Canadian trio. If everyone could feel the way I’m feeling right now, the scourge racism would go away-fast. It reminds me of when The Rolling Stones came to Chicago in 1965 to see the great blues musicians of the time. Why can’t we all enjoy each other’s cultures and well-meant desire to move forward as members of one human race? Been fighting racism all my life and your honest reactions were beautiful because the music is beautiful. Please keep doing these!!!!

Glad you dig it. Love Rush, been listening to them since I was 11 years old (1975). Once again, you've put a smile on my face. Cheers!
The best songs they ever wrote which "pull you in" to a scene are Xanadu, Cygnus X1, The Trees. Check em out!
Masters of MY universe!!!
Dirk, Lerxst & Pratt forever!! 🤘❤️
So. Damned. Creative. Everything so interesting from this band. SO FREAKING GOOD.
Jamal’s reactions towards Neil Peart’s left-to-right single-stroke tom-sweeps is absolutely priceless!
Rush, the best. Never boring with this band.
Natural Science - Such an amazing microcosm of our society.
I love your face (reaction to RUSH)!!! It never gets old! *RUSH RULES*
💜💫✌️🎵 Thank you for making these playlists!
This blew my mind when I heard them play this live at Sandstone. 11th row. It was a ride! Better than any roller coaster.
Thank you, thank you so much for bringing Rush out into the spotlight. This band has been the soundtrack of my life since 1982 when I discovered them. Your videos and the comments left usually bring tears to my eyes. Thanks again man!
I'm so happy that you reviewed this song. You have a real appreciation for this music. Thank you.
When you see them in concert, at their best, you leave beat down, exhausted, and giddy with awe.
Yes - Awaken. You will not be disappointed. Also, The Camera Eye by Rush is a real treat.
Show Don't Tell ... Is another incredible song with mind blowing lyrics.
I laugh because I remember when I used to get weird stares for years and years when I jammed out in my car listening to Rush. Now people are finally getting it. The obligatory drumming on the steering wheel.....
The greatest drummer of all time wrote those lyrics :D:D
The greatest lyricist of all time played those drums :D:D
I was lucky......45 years ago I got into rush... love them...love you Jamal......miss Neil so much. Love your reactions
