The line that hits SO HARD for me in this is, "I'm scared of being okay cuz all things change." Like I felt that in my being. Scared of good times because you know bad times are coming too. Oof. Reminds me of the pendulum of dark and light he talks about in Hi Ren.

I so loved this reaction! Ren is my new favorite artist. Notice I said artist. I found his go fund me back when he first put it out....donated what I could. I love he's independent, doing what he can on his own. I know Sony dropped him when they realized how long his recovery would be. Stupid on their part, but yay for his fans. Being misdiagnosed for years, I feel for Ren. Like you, Jai, I'm in love ❤️

You need to check out these two doing 'How to be Me', just exquisite and beautiful harmonies and song, another hard message song with meaningful content, we so need more music like this.
I'm going through his music and I'm in love with this one and Chinchilla is amazing, I'll be checking out "How to be me" next.
Ren's voice is so emotional, I love that his music is so versatile, very few people can couple a great rap cadence with an equally impressive singing voice. But holy cow, Chinchilla's voice.... her soft notes and high notes at the end are probably the most heartbreaking sounds I've ever heard in a song, it literally sounds like she's crying out desperately, a cathartic release. I think the only other time I've been so emotionally drawn into someone's voice is James Blunt's in Monster. This was awesome.

Another great reaction to a great artist. Honest appreciation for the artist as an artist but first and foremost as a person. Even as an atheist I see the love in asking people to pray for Ren. Good luck and may your god walk with you.
What I take from this song is the struggle with antidepressants and anti psycotics. As a person who has lived with a partner for 25 years who struggles with depression daily. Taking these pills basically erases her personality and makes her numb, essentially a "chalk outline" of her actual self. Years of her sitting in my lap and crying because she is so tired of feeling this way makes this song so impactful for me.
