Can we just talk about how hard hitting that “he’s doing what a soldier does, sacrificing himself for the lives of others” is? Never thought I’d be so impressed with a animated star wars show.
If you break the word "soldier" down, you can hear "soul dier".
I understand that clones are viewed as expendable... but their more human than anyone in the star wars franchise.

I watched this show for the first time in 2017. It blew my F*kin mind how great the writing was. It will always be part of my Star Wars binge watch sessions from now on. I can't get over how well done it was. I was pleasantly surprised.

@@mct2199 ikr, Gregor was one of my favorite clones until FUCKING REBELS.
I loved the rebels death. They chose that mission. One of the three clones was gonna eat it. Rex was on Endor, so... I enjoy Ventress handing it to Wolfe as much as anyone, but as far as emotional impact, eh. Gregor was perfect.
They were slave soldiers for the Republic under authority of the Jedi. As free men, they chose the Lothal mission. Not for the Republic, not for the Rebellion, but for what the Ghost crew always stood for.
I also loved every minute of Hondo in Rebels.
MY GWEGOR!!!!!! I legit cried when we thought he died in Clone Wars, then I cried happy tears when we saw him in Rebels, then SOBBED when he died later. He is my fave clone, we see so little of him but he won my heart over the first time I saw him

This is a story I wanted because I never knew how Gregor came to join Rex after I thought he died in that rydonium explosion, I searched the lore and it still didn’t give me a good answer, so thanks for this metanerdz

Armor so complicated, high tech, and protective yet Reckor was easily knocked out in the Bad batch when battling fennec
their armor is modified, only wrecker wearing katarn body armor, resit is either modified phase1 or phase 2 scout body armor
but for wreckers case, his armor wasnt equipped with energy shield as normal commando katarn armor
armor is a tool. put it in the hands of some one like jango and its deadly provides protection. but in the hands of some one like jar jar and its a peace of junk

I think the main thing that folk love so much about the clones is simply this. They live in their most basic form the life every infantrymen feels in their gut that they are. A shield used to protect those who will never care as much about their sacrifice as those they fight beside. The clones show one of the greatest virtues of any military. The brotherly connection of comrades in arms.

The clones are the most mentally complex characters in starwars.
I just wished Gregor got his armour back out for Lothal, some bits strapped together and repaired. God that would've been so cool, same with rex and wolffe, seeing them going into battle mode.
Soldiers aren't put on this Earth to sacrifice, they do so through duty. anyone who has ever served understands that. I love this show and I always will.
I kinda feel like the Complete Life of Rex and Gregor needs an update. maybe wait after the Bad Batch ends

I never thought watching Attack of the Clones that the clones would get so fleshed out to the point that we get lore videos on specific ones.
A suprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Other clones that would be great to see in these kinds of videos:
Fives, Jesse, Thorne, Fox.
Heck, Audible needs to get you to record an audio book. Smooth tenor with subtle inflections.

Aw yeah, I remember that gregor, I saw his first appears in Clone Wars season 5, and then He did return in rebels season 2, when I saw him, I alway thought it was Cody with Rex and Wolffe, but He was Gregor, He seem completely fake version of Commander Cody.
Maybe Cody went to somewhere in galaxy same place as Rebels, maybe he along with Martez sisters, Jar Jar binks and mandalore guy like Korkie kryze after Bad Batch series, I hope Cody will stay alive in Canon timelines.
As much as I want to believe he joined the rebellion, it is way to likely he stayed with the Empire.

To be honest.when i first hear about Bad Batch Series
I always assume it's gonna be Bad Batch Helping Rex find some Rex Close Friend like Wolf And Gregor. To help them remove their Inhibitor Chip and then star their mission to try help destroy The Empire
But then some mission go bad. The Bad Batch all died protecting The Three Clones. Then they just Hide from Empire untill we meet them at Star Wars Rebels

Not sure if this video came after or before TBB, but this video missed Gregor's time training Storm Troopers on Daro and was actually shot and injured by RC-1262 "Scorch" from Delta Squad when he was being evacuated by CF-99
I didn't really enjoy Rebels as much as The Clone Wars but the scenes with the old clones is really nice, although i do wished they would've worn their old armour again.

I can't say for sure, I'm no professional and I've never experienced it myself, but if I had to guess Gregor's brain injuries might've caused permanent mania? The descriptions I've heard of mania seem at least similar.
