Awesome.! Dadar station is the most crowded in Mumbai. During peak hrs, it's so difficult to walk on the platform.! And as you said, facilities at our railway stations are miniscule comparing to the ever increasing crowd.!
but we all walk over one another and dont have a problem.! it is also a very kind city, than any other metropolis. We can walk at 11:30 pm safely. one must see Bombay from 12:00 am - 4:00 am - it is a completely diff city - thats when the last trains have left VT.

Rishikuttan enjoys train journey a lot...there are lot of maintenance work is underway as there are extending and widening platforms...there are escalators and lifts available...u came in the wrong direction...if u would have come in peak hours it would have been more difficult...its very overcrowded....

The issue with Railway station congestion by passengers is that everyone is walking in all directions, bumping into each other and slowing others down. If we follow the similar policy as of driving, that is, to walk on left side, things would become better. It's a culture that should begin right from kindergarten and as kids become older, they begin to understand the benefits of such a practice

Nowadays,500ml bottle is provided instead of 1litre. But if the traveler wants he can ask for another 500ml without paying any additional price. Technically you get a litre of water but since the wastage is high they are providing it in 500ml. Those who need 1litre can ask for it.
