"The Kingdom" is an original dwarven song in our Hammerdeep collection. We are continuing to develop our own Dwarven legend through multiple musical compositions. We hope you enjoy it:)
We wrote the lyrics, composed, and arranged the piece. My family sang it.
Please no bad language in the comments. We want this to be family friendly:) Thank you!
Lyrics:
The Kingdom
Behold my son, my father said,
the strength of Dwarven stone.
When I pass, it will endure
The kingdom and the throne.
Stone on stone with Dwarven hands
A hall for peace to reign
Where beat hearts of loyalty
The kingdom shall remain
And when the halls are filled with treasure
And when we strive for one endeavor
And when the stone of white
Crowns the hall with light
Then shall the kingdom stand forever
Forever
Come, said he, I show you well
The craft of ages past
Iron heart and diamond head
Will make the hammer last
But the heart of adamant
Is needed for the fight
Arm of oak and heavy stroke
Shall be the foeman’s plight
And when you live to see the treasure
And when we strive for one endeavor
And when the crown of gold
Finds the spirit bold
Then shall the kingdom stand forever
Forever
Dreaded day of reckoning
has called us on this day
Evil magic beckoning
A force from dark decay
Goblins of the darkest realm
Our kingdom to dismay
Draw your axes, venture forth
Bring valor to the fray
And when they come to take our treasure
Then shall we strive with one endeavor
And when the stones flow red
With their wicked dead
Then shall the kingdom stand forever
Forever
Then let our hearts be filled with treasure
And let us strive with one endeavor
And let us wash the stone
And restore the throne
Then shall the kingdom stand forever
Forever
Fallen father, know thee well,
Your memory remains
Peace fulfilled from blood then spilled
And now your son who reigns
Standing now in readiness
For the hammer’s falling
Building now in steadiness
The kingdom now is calling
And when our name becomes a treasure
And we have lived for one endeavor
And when the stones grow cold
With our dead of old
Still shall our kingdom stand forever

I love the Hammerdeep world you have created! Always happy when another addition is made!
Like a sledgehammer, you guys crush it every time. I don't even have to wait for the song to start before insta-liking. :)
Cool!!!
I love Hammerdeep. I enjoy these songs more then the Nirgankerdak series.
❤❤❤
Your songs make me proud of my dwarven heritage despite not being a Dwarf.
It is (almost) as good as (small amounts of) gold.
Agreed!
YANAD DURINUL!!! A TRUE SON OF DURIN!!!!
Imagine how proud I am being of a dwarven heritage 🧔🏻♂️⚒️
We are all dwarves at heart!
I love how in all your original songs, you emphasize that the true treasure of Hammerdeep's dwarves isn't gold or jewels or even mithril, but their loyalty, bravery, honesty and generousity. All the bling is just ornamentation. The dwarves themselves are the treasure.
Exactly
The treasure was the friends we made along the way
There is nothing better in the morning than a new Clamavi De Profundis song
and one about the glories of dwarven folk no less
Life goal: Make a dwarf home in the side of a mountain. Sit down at the ripe age of 100 in some armour, and pass on. Confuse the sh** out of anyone who eventually finds it.
*Slams down two tankards and slides over a bottle of meade*..... Mind if I join you?
armour must be made of mithril.
I can imagine this sung after the battle of the five armies. Just think Dáin's coronation, rebuilding Erebor in Thorin's honor. That matches so well, chills.
Beautiful visual you just gave
Clamavi de Profundis, you deliver a wonderful song yet again.
Y’all are half the reason I can’t play anything except a dwarf in DnD. Or in Baldurs Gate. Or in Total War. So thanks. Raise the hammer high, oaths kept and grudges settled.
I am a 22 year old woman, but I absolutely love your Dwarven songs! They make me really happy whenever I listen to them :)
I’m a 23 year old guy can we be friends 🤣
There full vertion of durins soung is amazing
Offers her a beard.

Haha, maybe? I don't really use social media besides youtube though x)

It is! That was actually the first song I heard from them :)
You never disappoint. May your music become a treasure for the ages?
"May your music become a treasure for the ages."
What a beautiful compliment- well said, friend!
Forever.
‘Fail to disappoint’ ?
Dwarven bass: Forever....
I love all of your Dwarven/Tolkien inspired songs! Tolkien would be so proud of what you have made! You are keeping his legacy alive in the greatest way possible! Thank you so much!
If the Dwarven Kingdoms, especially Moria or the Lonely Mountain, had a National Anthem, this would be it.
Very true
There are songs that bring joy, songs that bring sadness but there few that stay in your heart.... Forever
"When our names become the treasure..."
I wept.
Love this song. This is a ☼Masterwork☼ !
This is a day to celebrate my brothers. Clamavi De Profundis has created another gem for the Dwarven people!
I've got shivers running through my back listening to these lines "And when our name becomes a treasure, And we have lived for one endeavor, And when the stones grow cold, With our dead of old, Still shall our kingdom stand forever"
i actually started to tear up right here.. amazing lyrics
I totally understand

This song not only made me realise, finally, what it is I find so appealing about Dwarves, but also what I find so fascinating about the idea of Heaven. It's all in the word, Forever.
Forever isn't a thing in this world. Everything in this world is fleeting, and there's certainly beauty in that fleeting nature. The fact that something will come and go and never be there again is beautiful. The idea that a few or even a single person may get to see that one thing during it's time is incredible. The fact that even the night sky above will, one day, be unrecognisable from how it looks now, is mind-blowing.
But Forever is special. If anything is Forever, then it's mere existence is, in a way, beautiful. And Dwarves don't build a Kingdom, or anything, for the here and now. They make it for Forever.
What always bothered me about heaven is that the claim is that I will live forever.
If I build a legacy that lasts a thousand years, then I can rest in peace, knowing I've done more than was asked of me.
In heaven, there is no rest. I will never know peace.
Well, unless my mind is altered to a point that I might as well be dead, so what's the difference?
@@Nerobyrne but in Heaven there is no building of legacies
@@dangswan yes exactly, sounds terrible
They are the epitome of planting a tree under whose shade you will never sit.
It is something beautiful. To have the skill and power to craft something so special that not even time can touch it is something that makes the Dwarves so special to me.
I wonder if Clamavi knows how much the music they make affects people? So much emotion in all their music makes it hard not to feel touched by it
It actually saved my life one day. Was going to eat a bullet and held back because of them. Second best decision of my life.
I love the optimism of this song. It even retroactively reframes Moria and all such lost Dwarven kingdoms.
I love your Dwarfcore songs the most of all, I keep them in a playlist for my Dwarrowdeep D&D campaign.
If you ever want to make that playlist public I would be greatly appreciative
I've already hit "replay video" at least 5 times. Outstanding work that I will certainly be adding to the lore of my D&D Dwarves.
The kingdom shall live forever⚔️
I feel like a dwarf mining in caves under erebor listening to this song
I'm LOVING the syncopation in the vocals y'all have been adding recently
So many chills! Your voices are amazing! Thank you for sharing with us.❤❤❤
Brilliantly performed as always! I do look forward to seeing your stories published, a new Catholic legendarium to go next to the works of Tolkien. ❤
Your name already has become a treasure to me, Clamavi De Profundis.
Your songs breath such life into Dwarven culture. I'm not even a fan of dwarves, but I cannot get enough of your songs!
This song is one of my favorites ever. Thank you guys for making such great work!
Marvelous! This is moving in a way that the sons of Aulë deserve!
I can see this as background song for the Dwarf-halls of Lord of the Rings Online. And that final verse - astounding harmony, as we've come to hope for from you!
Thank you once again!
I'm 12 year's old and i love your songs!

The change of voice tone and speed just perfectly matches the deep meaning of those lines. Living striving for an endevour and not being forgotten after we perished from this temporary world is a genuine goal to have and an antidote to despair and nihilism aswell.
The strength of the dwarves is not in their craft, wealth nor might of arms. It is in one another
Clamavi Dwarf playlist, 50% volume on Rim World with the Dwarves of the Rim mod.
10/10 Dig a hole again
Clamavi de Profundis “Keeping the kingdom alive and thriving” proud to be a citizen of this kingdom
I love the Hammerdeep collection it always gives me goosebumps.
I played this after my DND party's dwarf named Harthran Ironheart died. It got our whole group emotional.
Long Live the Clamavi De Profundis !
Now we just need all these dwarf songs sung in Dwarven
Your dwarf songs are perfect to play drg to rock and stone
This actually made me misty eyed. Of course the Dwarves were able to dig deep into my heart.
I love all these songs you have that talk about the Dwarves at the heights of their power, or sound like something that would be sung in a Dwarven Empire. Too often we see the Dwarves in decline in fantasy, so it's wonderful to get to experience the Dwarves in all their glory.
You inspired me so much!! It was because of your songs that I started to learn English back then when your cover of Far Over the Misty Mountains was first released.
Now my goal is to train my voice to sing your cover and original songs to my future children and grandchildren
A song to remember forever!
These songs make me appreciate the Dwarves allot more. I wished there was some kind of song in Khuzdul that was so catchy, every Tolkien fan knows it. Or like the vikings when they formed their shield wall, shouting a rhyme that all of their kind know and follow in unison to get into a mindset. Like when the Dwarven army at the lonely mountain set up their shield wall "as if it was something they knew since birth, second nature" if only there was a rhyme with those Dwarves setting up that defensive maneuver. Or if we had Gimli shouting a Rhyme at the top of the deeping wall.. :D
I love the generational nature of this song, moving from the founding of the kingdom to when it is overrun, then restored again. Absolutely wonderful.
This really sounds like the theme to an awesome fantasy TV show about Hammerdeep. Something that plays over the introduction of the characters.
I love this! Honestly I think its so cool y'all are doing your own dwarven story. If you listen to these songs a certain way though it can still make you think of Thorin Oakenshield and the company. So cool!
Amazing work! I have a dnd world with a dwarven faction and i use your songs as worldbuilding inspiration and as their traditional songs. Thank you for always making such great songs!
The Kingdom is a breath of fresh air, a shot of raw dwarven pride.
Amrali tada brother. You did well. May ancestors watch you.
Love this arrangement! You guys are all so talented. God bless!
Dwarves songs are the greatest !
Thank you! Your mighty voices are the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.
May God bless you with all his love.
Then let our hearts be filled with The treasure! HIS KINGDOM will stand forever. God bless. Love your music brothers.
No jewels, no gold, this my friends is the treasure that the heart should seek for. Love it. Great lyrics and absolutly stunning chorus ❤🫡👏👏
Another brilliant song lifts one's spirits on a Monday day to set us up for the week, Thank you so much, may Clamavi De Profundis last forever for the ages!
This should be the Dwarf Fortress main theme. It's a perfect arc of the life of a fortress.
This gonna be legend.... Amazing melody and proud deep and perfect voices. Your songs are so amazing and always make my day better
.... Thank you for this song. It melt my dwarf heart! ❤🔥⚒⚔⛏
Amazing voices!!!.
Never stop making songs. You are an inspiration to us all
Yet another one of your songs to add to my "For Inspiration" playlist! It sounds so amazing!
Everything, absolutely everything you guys upload is legendary
Amazing work as always. This will definitely be going in my Dwarven playlist.
Rarely does song drive me to tears, yet you have done it. Stone Bless you Brothers.
Clamavi keeps hammering out gems
I love all the Dwarven music y'all do!
I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I CRY IN THE END, THANKS FOR THIS SONG.
I would love to hear you guys do a song about Mythril
Amazing! Tomorrow is my birthday, and this is a wonderful gift!
I love your Songs of Hammerdeep.
Happy Birthday
@@caracal429 Thanks :)
Amazingly inspiring song ! now i want to mine gold while singing this..
Seeing Clamavi de Profundis grow so big as a channel is really satisfying to me. I spend my whole youth until now listening to and awaiting Clamavis newest songs and interpretations. They really do deserve it. May you grow even bigger, I'm always with you and curious every months end what you deliver us this time!
This song-lore fits near perfect with the dwarven kingdom I created in my story and rpg campaign "Oaths & Honor". Long may the mountain kingdom of Khandural reign!!!
O brave dwarvish Lords , the road to Moria has presented itself to raise the flags of war for king and glory we shall see the orcs beneath our exes .
Hammerdeep will never fall!
Proud to be a dwarf💯
This is my 5 week olds favorite youtube channel. "Dwarven Forge" and "Diggy hole" are his top picks. he tells me by ceasing to cry when they play.
Amazing music as always. I love the harmonics you use with the choral parts; it always feels like there are so many more voices layered on each other than there really are, because of that.

This reminds me of the line in the second Negankerdak song "Our great ones have died". I'm glad this song relates to the great ones of the dwarves!
Das 10 músicas preferidas da minha vida, pelo menos 4 são de ClamavisDeProfundis! Vocês são SENSACIONAIS! Sério mesmo! E The Kingdom é mais uma obra prima!
If an 8th Durin's ever crowned and this isn't playing at his coronation, by Dumathoin, Clangeddin, and Vraccas, what I miss. What a tune! 😁
This song is amazing, I've listened to it on loop for a couple hours. The voice and lyrics are just so epic.
The harmony is just fantastic. I can't get enough of it. Best song made to date. Hands down
I just love how hopeful this song sounds!
I believe this takes place right before Son of the Mountain due to the allusion of a dead king or other form of ruler to protect The Kingdom, which seems to be Hammerdeep.
Also the line "For the hammer's falling" implies that When the Hammer takes place soon after. I believe this is third in the timeline, right after/during Birth of an Age and before Son of the Mountain.
(My current theorized timeline)
1. Boic Bravesoul
2. Birth of an Age
3. The Kingdom
4. Son of the Mountain
5. When the Hammer Falls
6. Dragonshore
7. Dwarven Forge
8. The Song of Hammerdeep
9. Daughters of the Sky
10. Oshjrad Bonebreaker
11. The Battle at World Stone Keep
Reading manga where dwarves lost there home, and where beaten low, and then they got help to reclaim there home, brought tear to my eye
I love how all your songs tell a story
My gods, this is truly epic! What a awesome composition!
Excellent as always!! Please keep making your amazing music!
That was amazing!
Clamavi De Profundis your music is so powerful and timeless i truly love your sound and talent thank you for sharing your gift with us!!
Awesome! I love listening to your music.
If someone makes a new animated adaptation of the the hobbit, Clamavi de Profundis must be in charge of the music
Absolutely phenomenal job! Thank you very much for all of your hard work in making this.
Another amazing song!!!! Thank you so so much 💕💕💕💕
The songs of this group are always full of energy and spirit.
This is amazing! I can’t wait to add this to my iTunes dwarven playlist!!! Chills. You guys are my favorite group.
You guys simply are incapable of making a song that doesnt move me. I love this channel beyond words. Thank you for being such a bright spot in dark times.
Another stunner. Absolutely amazing guys!
