The 13th MEU is a flexible crisis-response force that provides a range of military options to the combatant commander, from humanitarian assistance to combat operations. Man, I wish all Marines F-35B need to use the 25mm Gun Pod recommended if use it as last resort weapon for strafing run or dogfight mission, so as the F-35C Navy.

Will the Marine Corps be utilizing the F-35B and F-35C just dependent if it is on a small sized carrier vs like a Nimitz class carrier?
Naturally, the F-35B was meant for these shorter carriers. I believe the F-35C has a longer range than the F-35B as well.
The C has a bigger wing and heavier landing gear and an arresting hook. C is the only one that can land on conventional carriers. B is the only one that can land vertically and do short take offs.
So I guess if marines are going to swap out their F18s on normal carriers then yes, they will have to use The C variant.
Also, because the C has a 40% bigger wing than the A or B, it has the longest range out of all of them.
The USMC gets the F-35B replacing AV-8 which are for the short decks... The USMC F-35C replacing the F/A-18c will be on the SuperCarriers

You need to be a commissioned officer in order to even be considered for a pilot's program. You need to be a college graduate to even be considered for the officer commissioning program.
It’s a nice plane tho in my opinion jets are overrated planes of ww2 were just right they could be used just like jets but cheaper more planes like that should be used

George Washington he complimented the plane and compared propellor planes to the entirety of jet manufacturing, which I agree with. Cheap and easy to use, yet still devastating to the enemy.
