The VH-60N Whitehawk, is used for overseas travel as the VH-3D is too difficult to transport. They have to pretty much remove the whole top part of the helicopter to get it to fit. The Whitehawk is easier as it squats low enough and can be readied faster on the other end. The Navy still uses UH-1Ns called Cotton Tops but these are used for Admirals and other officials. The reason that a Bell has not been used, is because since the first purpose built Executive Transport was built, it has been a Sikorsky helicopter. Sikorsky has been flying the POTUS for 60 years now.
