The mid credit scene didnt show up until episode 7 because the mid credits (Edit: With Marvel) didnt start happening until the 2000s. So it would make sense that they wouldnt have any mid credits until they hit the 2000s show!
This is a cool idea...but it's technically slightly wrong: a better framing would be "mid-credits scenes that recontextualize the plot/tease a sequel didn't become popular until the 2000's." Technically, movies have been doing mid-credits scenes since the 60's, but they were normally for one final joke/pay off of an idea. (A lot of them were "here's what that one character we left like, an hour ago, is still doing.") So 'IMPORTANT mid credits scenes didn't start happening until the 2000's"

Yeah my brother pointed this out to me. The little details they've been doing in this series is pretty awesome.
I thought it was because Ep7 is when it stopped being a sitcom and began being a marvel show/movie again. So like marvel movies they started doing end credit scenes.
You're not going to even talk about how Vision replicates almost *exactly* Jim Halpert's mannerisms and looks to camera in this ep? It's fantastic.
Or modern family, or Brooklyn nine nine, or parks and rec. Love the office and love Jim, but he’s by no means the only tv character to do that, and this episode has much more of a modern family vibe than the office (other than the theme song)
@@willmiddleton913 if you watch the scenes side by side they are almost an exact replica of Jim during a talking head. But I mean, go off.

I'm so glad you took a sin off for Kathryn Hahn's performance. Agatha All Along is an absolute banger, & Hahn plays a huge part in making it that way. You can just HEAR how much fin she's having & putting into the character in her vocals. I loved it.
And we later found out that 2:46 is in fact not a lie... Ding

@@sparkywolftail Directing and creating are two different things. by way of example, John Favreau created the Mandalorian but most of the episodes have been directed by other people.
@@sparkywolftail if you've seen the newest episode though it's pretty clear Wanda did in fact create things and Agatha showed up after the fact to manipulate events. So Wanda is definitely EP and would get created by credits as such.

I'm surprised that you're surprised at Phase 4 already constantly referencing Infinity War and Endgame. Phase 2 and 3 referenced the Battle of New York many times and Phase 3 also referenced Sokovia whenever it could.
And one would think The Snap was a tiny bit bigger on consequence than "New York" and "Sokovia", at least enough to warrant a few mentions. Especially when it's about explaining the previous deaths of a now seemingly sentient fake(?) version of the dead AI.
Damn, they mention an event where literally half the universe and a lot of their friends died just 3 weeks ago? how could they! Its a shame!

To be fair, from the end of Arrow's 7th season to the present, characters have mentioned the Crisis at least once every episode (with the exception of the series opener to Superman and Lois)

Seemingly hypocritical, sure, but both are still sin-worthy. Having your viewers have to keep track of old events can be a pain but so can running them through the list of backstory.
But some of us - including me - have never seen the damn movies. This show is literally the number one TV show IN THE WORLD as of Episode 7. And this guy is complaining about the show making it easier for us new viewers?

You seem confused about some of the tropes of 21st Century sitcoms being reenacted here, like waking up in last nights clothes (not pyjamas - - her hairstyle has updated for the new decade) and confessional interviews filmed after the action (Viz by the van) and spliced in. Wandas magic does the editing, like the title sequences. The characters aren't literally acting those out in real time either, jumping from place to place!
Is it weird that I now can't think of it as anything other than "S.W.A.R.D." now?

That Agatha All Along sequence is so good both from a fun and technical standpoint. It’s such a clever way to get information across so concisely and without having to bog the script with unnecessary exposition.

Devils Tritone is a music pattern that was used in Agatha's song. It was also used in the opening and closing songs of practically every episode. Not only does this mean Agatha's song feels like it belongs, but it also means that we have been sort of hearing her song underneath all of the others without even realising it.

Okay yes perhaps the episode is mainly based on Modern Family stuff but the fact that they acknowledge at all there's a camera crew is very The Office (sorry Denné but it's true) and there is a moment in The Office in which a boom mic guy is fired for interacting with the cast so there are still major Office hints here. Especially that intro very Officey as the outtakes refer too

I watched the whole miniseries yesterday and for a while I thought the villain would be Dottie and Agnes would be a red herring. I was sadly mistaken. For now.
I'm not sure if this has the most double-meaning/layered jokes in it of all TVsins, or if I just never noticed as many as I did here (e.g. the line after colonic, and more than Uno). Either way, incredibly well done!

In episode 7 we reach the early 2000s, when the MCU started and the post-credits scenes became a thing. I think it's a reference for this, but maybe it's just a random choice.
It's to show that WandaVision is moving away from the sitcom-style and moving on to the more "Marvel style"

Yes, it's based on Modern Family where the interviewers are never heard, but the opening credits were a complete ripoff of The Office's. In The Office, on a few rare occasions, the characters do interact with the interviewers.

I think the 30th sin should've been that Darcy told Vision that Wanda killed him but SOMEHOW never mentions Thanos, the Infinity Gauntlet, or any of the events leading up to his death. Also, why do all the characters in this show have intimate knowledge of things that took place in battlefields? Information that only we audience members should be privy to?
