  • Hope this video helps those that are looking for more info on removing and installing headers on your 350z/g35, I wanted to show a few different ways going about some of the harder studs and what tooling I used to help me get the job done.     Any tips for getting that U- Joint off for the steering shaft ?

      @@natewilliams9579 all ya gotta do is take out both bolts on the u-joint, and it will freely slide up the steering column. The column does not retract like other cars, so all you can do is unbolt the u-joint to disconnect it. But once you do it will freely move over out of the way. Just try not to rotate the wheel/column, as well as bump the wheels and the alignment will be the same. I say this because the column splines has an alignment spline that ensures the u-joint goes on correctly. I’d highly recommend an alignment at a shop afterwards just to ensure it’s centered

    Did you have any trouble clearing the steering shaft? I have mine on and they are rubbing on steering shaft

      Fortunately mine cleared, might wanna double check everything’s installed properly
