- So, I've rinsed incoming punters for more money and they seem to be okay with that. I'll now spend that money on putting a near-whole park together then impossify a few rides. It's a silly word, but that's the point of the game. Does the impossify feature make it better? Park Beyond, chums. Last one. I'll now wait until the developers have twerked themselves at the weird beta bugs.

I have the "call of the void" too whenever I go near heights. I remember talking about that when you rode the Ferris wheel in Planet Coaster, it was hilarious and dark at the same time. lol

Could always give Parkitect a waggle if you want something more substantial but want a new-to-you game instead of a return to Planet Coaster.
Then again, I finally managed to shake the nightmares of some of your Planet Coaster rides, so some new horror might be in store.
These candid looks, and "go on it could be fun" attitude are very much the reason I keep coming back!
Really enjoyed this series, but definitely think you should re-visit Planet Coaster with your freshly honed coaster building skillz y0!

You can look it up it's known as "call of the void". It's actually fairly common.
I used to smoke. Me and a work mate would go to the roof of the 7 storey high office block for a smoke. I honestly couldn't stand within 2m of the parapet. But yet I was a volunteer firefighter and would climb ladders and walk on bungalo roofs no problem at all.
I seem to have a lot more voices that just say "Meh" to everything these days
I don't mind the linear designs, as this looks like it could fill the Sim Theme Park shaped hole between Planet Coaster's toybox and Parkitect's gritty management. However, as someone who has to rely on the PS5 or XSX versions because of an aging pc, all the pretty designs and animation have me scared about the optimization of lack thereof.
I think you can impossify it more than once and it gets even more ridiculous.

Sad to say, I think you nailed it in your concluding remarks. This is a neat hook someone had for a game, a fun concept, and then they made a fairly half-baked game that needs a lot more polish, or to be really slimmed down to be anything useful. I enjoyed your mini-series on it and your messy take, but since it releases in a month, I suspect it's going to be a disappointment.

This game looks really fun and brings a great new feel to park builders, but the amount of glitches for the price it costs...Valheim is a third of the price and very well trimmed. So with some work it can be great.

if you use impossification on the shining pendulum it will change so it throws up the ring where the people are sitting on it up in the air hehe🙂🙂🙂

you can use impossification on the ferris wheel like 10 or 11 times cause after you have done that the ferris wheel will have like 10 or 11 wheels that spins around hehe🙂🙂🙂🤣😂

I suspect your impossification only has visual changes with the set piece rides. There's no way to make a "super version" of a roller coaster where no two players are going to build it the same.

Looks real interesting, but I looked at Steam.... it's $50 coming mid June.... that's quite a big sausage. Probably put it on the wish list in case it goes on 50-70% off sale, but at $50? Pass.

This game completely misrepresents that "Impossify" feature on Steam. They make it seem like you can just design crazy rides from the ground up. And as we see here, this isn't the case. They're essentially all prefabbed upgrades. They actually managed to make ride "impossification" boring by taking away the ability for you, the part creator, to actually build a crazy ride. Utter fail in my opinion. It's never ever going to be able to compete with Planet Coaster or even Roller Coaster Tycooon 3 that came out almost 20 years ago. Frankly, I'm still waiting for that perfect theme park designing game that has full built in editors that not only lets you design and run your park, but also gives you editors that allow you to just.. build rides from scratch. There was one game, that I recall, that was like that, but it turned out to be a completely buggy mess and the developers never even finished it properly. They just released it in a lousy state with half the features and then abandoned it.
nah, its everything what they advertised, but the game looks a bit buggy and rough.
RCT3 is utter garbage, i played it a few weeks ago for the first time but it didn't age that wel. RCT2, parkitect is better.
@@Yautja24 I absolutely LOVE RCT3. I have hundreds of additional fan made scenery, flat ride, and coaster addons for it. I can build more with it and with more details and options than anything that I can do with Planet Coaster, Parkitect, or RCT2. I think it just has to do with the sheer amount of stuff I've packed into it that makes it so good. I can do so much more with it than I can with any other theme park design program. I don't find any problem with it other than if you play it stock with nothing added to it, it's pretty bare boned. I have all the expansions, plus all that custom made content that I've downloaded from fan sites over the years.
