+Crow senpai It's called "Obscuring ring" now and it makes you COMPLETELY invisible beyond certain distance, around the lock-on range. Trade in 10 pale tongues (but no holes!) with Rosaria to get it. Must-have for invasions in the wild.
It's annoying but at the same time this type of trolling isn't game breaking or ruining anyone's fun. He's just taking an aspect of the game and playing with the physics. Genius if you ask me!
Anyone who invades is ruining the fun, since they are forcing their pvp and annoying-ness against someone who probably doesn't want it. If someone wants to do pvp, they will summon mad and dark spirits willingly. Otherwise invaders are just halting their fun and their forward momentum. They are an annoyance and nothing else. And anyone who wishes to be an annoyance obviously needs to get a life.
This gives me a fantastic idea similar to Hide & Seek in the Shaded Woods... Summon a CRAPTON of Invaders, around 4-5, and play Dark Souls, The Stealth Action game... They all run to the final bonfire in the area, the Boss' Bonfire... From there, they have to find and kill you before you reach that Fog Wall and go through. Using the Obscuring Ring, and whatever else you like... You have to reach from one side to another. The catch is, you cannot carry any REAL weapons. Daggers, Catalysts for spells, bows, and weapons below 3.5 Weight are allowed. All armor you are wearing must be Light. Ninja, Assassin, Thief armors, plus all normal cloth, is fine. No metal! No Crossbows! Rules for the Invaders are, of course, they have to kill you, but they CANNOT camp the Fog Wall, they have to remain, say... At least 20 FUGS lengths away from the Fog Wall at all times, save for if they've located and are chasing the Host. Also, they cannot actively camp any location. They must move locales every... Say, 5 minutes. They can bring any and all weapons with them, even spells. Same with armors. Also, you cannot kill all the enemies in the area beforehand. You gotta go at the area as-is. Makes it easier, and harder, for the Reds. Because you can use a bow to lure them to an area, as they see an enemy's HP dropping. As the Host, you cannot simply sit there, either. After a timer goes off, say for 20-30-40 minutes, you HAVE to remove the ring, and make a mad dash for the Fog Wall. Pretty much, Alert Phase, MGS style. (I have no idea how long Red invaders remain in a world once they've been summoned. I would say that you have to remove the ring around... 5 minutes before they're automatically sent back, if it's shorter than my estimation.) Areas approved for this are... The entirety of the Farron Keep area, from Abyss Watchers all the way back to Halfway Fortress. Max Reds is at 5. Undead Settlement, from beginning to Onion Bro/Tower to Road of Sacrifices. Max Reds is at 4, total. Boreal Valley, Bridge to Pontiff, Max Reds 4. Lothric Castle, Max Reds 4 Dungeon, Max Reds 3 And, finally, Cathedral of the Deep, Max Reds 4. What does everyone think?

Anything higher lvl, may want to switch Morne: Large stat investment. 1 FP WOG is great. Crazy damage. Some people swear by it for how fun it can be. Higher lvl pvp is recommended for stat requirements.
+Flickerwisp Chameleon, spook and hidden body are the most useful sorceries tbh, hidden body just because it works on NPC where as obscuring ring dosen't, chameleon because it is sooo useful when you are outnumbered when invading.
+Feder Fencer Simple... he choose not to continue leveling and just continued on til he got it later in the game... came back and invaded people. You can still invade people in an area even if you killed the boss you just can't invade people in an area that they've already killed the boss (unless it's through summoning)..

There aren't many players who are *this* stupid... The reality is 95% of pvp encounters will consist of desperately rolling around, trying to flee from multiple phantoms long enough to fire an arrow. Not my idea of fun. Now archer pve on the other hand...
i think it is the " everyone will hate u" build. im sure he used the obscure ring (makes u invisible at certain range) so it can be really good if ur opponents dont see u. specially in spots like he showed in the video or farron/swamp woods areas
This is extremely set up or the culmination of thousands of pvp sessions... I'm amazed the likes are so high. In 80% of these there is no point in people conveniently stopping and looking over those edges as there is nothing in the direction they are looking...

+Twistshock Obscuring ring. I use it. Hidden body only lasts about 30 seconds so it's not super useful.

For the staircase clips, a boulder of bodies rolls up and down the stairs. That's why they stand on the edge. The other clips aren't explainable
