These are fun challenge ideas and the one thing to remember is that a very small minority actually care about the minutiae of the challenge… most people come for the journey, the fun that happens along the way and the creativity involved. So whenever you feel pressured by the challenges, just have fun! We have more fun watching when you’re having fun too.

First example that comes to mind is NGplus, like with his Spyro no gliding runs, failed most of them I'm pretty sure (by his own rules), but posted the videos and acknowledges the loss but continues to see how it goes anyway.
I can confirm that the Leo Ring works with bows, crossbows and greatbows. However you have to land a "counter" hit, which is gonna be tough to time with a Greatbow.

If you hit an enemy at a certain point during their attack animation you will deal extra damage, it doesn't stun them better or knock them over, but it will deal more damage. If you wear the Leo Ring and do a counter with a thrust weapon that bonus damage is increased (fairly noticeably). You CAN stun them with a crossbow, but it's hard - either by hitting an enemy with low poise, or if you can time it right by getting a headshot (headshots always stun most enemies who can be hit by headshots).
Our commentary/ explanations are so great, it's not filled with unnecessary things to artificially keep viewers interested, but it's not waaaay to focused so it's boring.... And the editing is great you have a amazing career ahead :)

Great video! In my Ballista/Jar Cannon only playthrough in ER, I noticed that the counter attack talisman affects the damage greatly, but this is Ds1 so idk.. needs testing but there is a chance.

This was great fun, I also loved the added caveat of ammo count even though I knew it wouldn't be a huge deal, plus the details and the headshot bonus where known are cool too. For another challenge suggestion, what about doing it with maximum soul gain possible, but you may only kill each enemy once? Symbol of Avarice, Covetous Silver Serpent Ring, and you have to Overkill every enemy applicable to it, Overkill being where you gain an additional 20% I think it is if you deliver 1.5 times their maximum up.

One of the biggest issues with getting into the DS challenge run youtube scene, is that practically every challenge run has been done to death, yet you somehow manage to make unique challenges that I've honestly never quite seen before.
Alright you definitely earned the sub. Excellent editing, audio and explanations throughout. I will say I worry however about you pigeon holing yourself as a dark souls or challenge run channel. If thats what your interested in, then by all means keep going as once again this is very well made and enjoyable content, it just seems that the youtube algorithm is not at all kind to people trying to break out of their established domain.

On a similar theme, maybe a "Bonewheel shield only" run would be fun to try. No skips apart from Asylum Demon so long as you Humanity up for the boys in the Catacombs. I can't get past O&S honestly, you'd think that a fire shield would do more damage but the weird lightning scaling on bonewheel shields is... weird. Good video btw. I never usually have much to say on the actual video subject, sorry.

Can you beat dark souls 2 as a caveman using only clubs. You don’t have to kill any bosses to get your first club you can buy it from the merchant before the first boss then you can get the great club with a S scaling in strength later on
Immediately on seeing the video title, the obvious question is going to be how you obtain the arrows for the greatbow, as it's the only actual question posed by the title. The greatbow itself is a massive improvement over other bows in the game, which are pretty great at cheesing the non-bosses, and can definitely beat every boss as well. In other words, the actual question isn't "Can you beat Dark Souls 1 with only a great bow?", it's "can you get to the shop that sells arrows for the greatbow without killing anything?" There are things you can kill that give more souls than 1 arrow costs, therefore killing them in 1 shot means you can have infinite arrows. If you cannot reach the shop without killing, the question becomes what the minimum amount of cheating is before you can complete the challenge. Ok, so immediately the video doesn't care about what the title asks. It cares about whether the max hp of all the required bosses is more than 1000 hits from one of the game's stronger weapons. The answer is obviously "yes", you can win with an OP weapon if you take away the only meaningful restriction it has.
