Probably one of the best eras in martial arts history outside of 😂Shaw Brothers. Big shout out to the channels and this is now top 10 of all time favorites!!!! Thanks 🙏🏾 guys.
Back in the '70s me and all my friends would watch these at the downtown theater they would be like four movies for a $1.50 and they would be packed every time and lots of audience response to the screen which didn't bother anyone some of it was quite humorous either way we cheered for the heroes and booed the villains it was almost like a rocky horror type event
Try looking up the lighting swords of death and it's a good movie to watch starring ogami itto and his little son it's a rare one to find but I found it and it was on the collection list. I have it in my possession a long with the 6 episode's which is called lone wolf and cub. What they did is broken the lightening swords of death original movie to the 6 episode's to lone wolf and cub it's worth too buy. I wish I could put it on RUclips for people to watch it. A huge, huge fan of David Chiang ever since I saw him in Triple Irons/a.k.a. The New One-Armed Swordsman-(1971),and Duel Of The Iron Fist with Ti Lung!!!!! Also in (1971), as well as Seven Blows Of The Dragon/a.k.a. The Water Margin-(1973), and "Shaolin Handlock" with the late great Lo Lieh, and Chan Wai Min

Yeah the ending is very fast paced revelations and scoops. Like a soap opera. I almost thought that when master Lee had a secret to reveal that he was going to say and you're also my daughter, LOL. Although i like this movie i didn't like the two beautiful women in it both die.
You're very picky but i respect that. I think the narrative on this one was great. But i am disapointed by the end. It all started to go wrong when the pretty girl with her lasso dies. I hoped she was faking it but wasn't.
@ericastier1646 There are a few dozen "kung fu" movies that I consider awesome. Sadly, there are MANY, MANY more that are awful. My all-time favorite is "Marco Polo," which combined the "5 Masters Of Death" stars with a couple of the Venom mob. If you haven't seen it yet; find a version with subtitles. I prefer them to audio dubbing, which is often terrible. 😂
@@the-trustees I don't know how many kung fu movies you've watched sofar but i started watching in 2007 and seen virtually all kung fu movies on youtube since, probably near a thousand. That's before this channel even existed. Once you pass the 300 movies mark, you start appreciating different things, it really is more that just the fighting, there are many many things than can make a movie interesting probably more than 20 even if it fails in many other aspects. Because of that i'd consider about 50 movies must watch, and another 150 good and another 300 watchable. The more you've seen the more lenient you become and can appreciate background or even filming location or secondary characters when the fighting or main characters are bad. That said, the venom movie seems to be a favorite of some people and i didn't like it. I am also not a fan of the Shaw brothers studio movies. I prefer the raw filmed in nature or real locations.
These modern day Martial arts movies have nothing on these legendary Kung Fu classics ❤
Das RITE
I do agree with you. I prefer to watch classic kungfu to modern kungfu.
true that
Absolutely right. We've passed the golden days of those great movies, be it Spaghetti movies and in my country too. They're just like school plays.
Exactly do you remember the classic martial art movie triple iron check out the stars in that one?
David Chiang, Yasuaki Kurata, Shi Shao Ciang, Huang Chen Li, etc this is a great movie 👍🏻👍🏻
Yasuki Kurata he play movie with Taiwanese actress

When there are weapons in these classics, it extraordinary!!!😮😅😅

In the 60s and 70s when we went to downtown Norfolk to the Lowe's theater it was 75 cent's for 3 movie's

Yes, David Chiang!👌
this opening fight scene alone is legendary. i can watch this scene over and over never get tired of watching it.
Definitely a value/actolion packed film
Definitely the strongest part of the film. The rest is a collosal mess for a wuxia film
Wow, I've seen some cheesy movies but this one is awesome! They are so agile, they are definitely artists at moving their bodies! Amazing!
I think that was awesome check out 7 blows of the dragon😊
It's a lot of double and choregraphed filming. But it fits the narrative so well, modern movies cannot touch that.
