White Dragon must get a list with the names of rebel supporters to Prince Ma Tung, the leader of the rebellion. Trying to stop him in his mission is the evil Prime Minister, who naturally wants the list in order to crush his opposition. Adding another complication is the fact that Ma Tung wants to kill White Dragon in revenge for the humiliation Tung's father suffered in a duel against White Dragon years earlier.

This movie was known as the desperate chase. I saw this in 72 in the Fiji islands. Out of a couple of Jimmy Wang yus movies this was my favorite. Brave and the evil was good too . Loved watching Wang yus movies

I always like the roles of Wang Yu especially being a super star because he usually carries a handicap and takes a high body count with him.
My first martial arts movie was the " Assassin" starring Wang Yu that left a big impression on me..

Damn apparently this was long sought after I too have been looking for thus since I watched it about 1992 or so.

Great movie, but my version has a different dub, with a more 70s soundtrack done by Flood in the title sequence.

Description covers most of all that occurs in beginning part of movie. This is a must see for Wang Yu fans ! Tip: That 1st fight is Tung's father from last sentence in description. "Chai Bo Hung Fu" (Lung Fei) has good fights thereafter. White Dragon is referred to as "Lun Ti Tin" all of movie. Some highlights: Ma Tung called "Ma Ting" (could be Lui Jun), fights Lun for his father. 3 of Captain Pak's (Mui Tin) men attack Lun in woods. A restaurant is the stage for 2 vicious fights. Ma Ting fights "Chai Bo" to save little boy. Captain Pak now joined by "Ti Ye Ying" (Yi Yuen) brings a small army of men to deal with Lun. Ma Ting faces many to make his way out on the other side. Both are huge fights ! Clever ending to top things off. NOTE: Lisa Chiao Chiao did several movies with Wang Yu including his Shaw Bros. days for those wanting more of one or both. Also, commenter is correct for US viewers many had this on vhs with the music by Flood and entirely different voice overs including one voice from the cartoon Pink Panther just to confirm that if wondering.
Hi again :) This is my fave kung fu film of all time i rented this as a kid at the video store a few times . It was under the name the white dragon rather than this known name. Yeung Yeung played Ma Tung :) Lui Jun played the guy that died in the beginning , the guy who gave the list to Ni Chiu .
Imdb has some of these actors names written backwards very annoying.

@@cheeseguy4998 That site is very good for movies with many names yes. IMDB you are right, it is structured in a odd format but still can be helpful. I simply just watch the movies (many times in 20 years) and jot down some info to add to the descriptions to make it more understandable for folks who may be novices or semi skilled watchers. Funny enough, I started doing it way back when I was that same novice who wanted the info for the next time I came back to watch the same movie again. Time being a little tight I do not have the luxury of doing it much anymore. It is nice to meet people like you on here at the same time no matter what the level of kung fu knowledge you have. Cool !

Thank you so much for the upload. I have been searching for this movie for over a decade!! This was one of my favorite movies when I was a little girl. I was always a big king fu movie fan!!! The ending of this movie has always left a deep impression on me. 😭
