- This new LIMITED EDITION Simpson GHOST BANDIT CRYPSIS spoke to me although I wasn't really in need of a new helmet. But, I couldn't pass this amazing looking helmet up and now that I have worn it, I'm glad I pulled the trigger.
The Simpson Ghost Bandit Crypsis is a matte finished Woodland Camo design that will make anyone feel concealed and hidden in any environment. Take this helmet out riding or with you hunting and you'll be sure to turn heads. 🤣. The Ghost Bandit is a good blend between the tough-guy appearance and endless features that will make this helmet what it is. I feel this will be a good year around helmet due to the venting, material used in the pads, and overall comfort of my new lid.

I own the carbon fiber Simpson and the newly dropped sting Ray. Both very light helmets. Only issue fogging up. US Army 74-77.

The only thing I don’t like about this helmet is that it came out like month after the Ponyboy Ghost Bandit I just bought! I found that the large fit me perfect coming from the Biltwell Lane splitter

Hello everyone. I tried on this helmet yesterday but I’m not thrilled. I was really looking forward to it coming into my hands because it looks brutal. The comfort of the helmet is excellent but the sound insulation is not good for me. There is a constant buzzing of air, except when I place my chin a little higher on my chest. Then the sound changes.
The visibility is excellent through it because the visor is huge. What doesn’t suit me at all is the noise level.
Earplugs are out of the question for me since I have Sena communication.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
They are a louder helmet for sure. I don’t notice any buzzing on mine though.
The gold on camo looks fuckin siiiiiiick, if my helmet still didn't have a year left in its life I would 100% pick one up asap, although I think that option will be gone by the time I buy one 😆

Do you wear a full face during the summer? If so which brand? Does that brand vent good so you can stay cool?
Yes sir I do. This will be the first summer I will be wearing the ghost bandit but in past summers I rotated between the Simpson Outlaw Bandit and the Ruroc Atlas. Both those vent extremely well and I’m curious to see how I like the ghost bandit in this southern summer heat. 🥵

Too bad this was a limited run. This finish is killer! As I continue to watch reviews of the ghost bandit, people seem to have the same “con” that it’s pretty noisy? What’re your thoughts? I can say though, that almost every review I’ve watched on leading, big name helmets (shoei, bell, ruroc, arai) someone always says that one or the other are noisy. Anyway, awesome looking helmet! Thanks for the great review!
I have the both the Simpson Ghost and outlaw Bandit as well as the ruroc atlas and the ghost is by far the quietest. Still noisy but like you said, I’m not sure any helmet out there doesn’t have someone say that.
