Dan is the snk parody so we have him a ton of stuff that lets him do snk-esque combos, in turn making him the most fun to play character in the game.

Yea, from what we've seen of this presentation, Dan is going to end up being the "technical" shoto with his cancels and VT2 just-frame specials and V-Reversal that can get complete punishes and whatnot, and I can't believe it.
Hopefully the new balance update can spice Ryu up a bit.

I really appreciate Capcom showing how moves are captured and animated. That is always super interesting to see.
Yeah I also assumed that they were just like most of Tekken's moves are but that was super interesting to see kind of wish they would do a mini documentary on that just showing how much need to get that right n how they tweak some of the stuff along the way

Honestly, i didn't even know they mocaped the actual moves and stances in this game, but i think it's awesome that they did.

im so glad they added v shift. No more dealing with annoying ass 50/50's all the damn time. Its about time they added an *ACTUAL* defensive mechanic in the offensive based game
Reversal isn't that bad, just have to know which moves/buttons to use it on. Which I kind of like. With shift I feel like people are over valuing it. Plus get ready to tech some more since people will be discouraged from pressure.

V shift will bring its own meta and we'll see how that goes. But until then, a solution is better than NO solution

@@tkZombie_ It's from a vid he uploaded not long ago. Like a few days. Essential, possibly upwards to 700 gift subs if Capcom and SNK have guest characters from one another's fighting game. It hinges if an SNK character is going to be the final SFV dlc character (250 gift subs), and then if Street Fighter character shows up in KoFXV (250 gift subs). The remaining 200 subs are for specific character guesses me made for both titles

I wish this stuff was included in the game, even if only in Limited/Collector's Editions. I remember how Mortal Kombat had tons of pictures and behind the scenes footage of the game being made and just loving it.

V-Shift looks like it took a lot of inspiration from Tekken 7's slow-down mechanic while expanding it to give players more technical options. Very cool.
It's one of the best damn things to happen to this game. Finally SFV looks like it's becoming truly fun.

@Plagueis Sidious Im pretty sure Eleven is just Bonus Content for fun. He probably doesn't even have lore to him, they just added him in for the hell of it. Also I feel like characters are made because of the overall lore of the game and through the different lores that each character shares with one another. Like how Ryu and Ken are buddies because they trained together under the same master and how Sagat is Ryus enemy because he killed Gouken. Or how Nash is actually Charlie who died long ago and Guile was there trying to find him for so long. Because of all the Characters and their connections it really depends on how they can connect to the lore.

Couple takeaways looking at V-Shift:
1) They conspicuously keep the healthbars covered during the section, so we don't know if the V Shift Break does real or gray damage, or how much damage of either it'll do
2) Similar to a GG Burst, if an opponent's attack properly hits the catch period of the V Shift, you not only get a slowdown effect but ALSO 1/4th of your spent meter back
Overall, things are really looking up for SFV, and I was already a fan of Champion Edition's changes

The main thing that has me doubting a guest character is the fact that the last character won’t have a stage. You would think that if someone from KoF was coming, they would include the stage from the series.
That make sense!
unless the character is from a Capcom IP that maybe teleported from their series of was summoned in some way. Either way it has to be impactful otherwise they wouldn't hide it, Akira would have made more sense for the last spot if that were the case.
They should have Kyo, Iori or Rugal if it where up to me. Terry, Mai and Geese already got Smash, DOA and Tekken.
They could always surprise us with a bonus stage. I personally wish the guest character was either Ryo or Takuma/Mr. Karate along with their dojo stage. Maybe them knowing Dan could be the tie in for Cacpcom vs SNK 3.
If a KOF character were to come it should either be Terry, Iori, or Kyo.
I really love what they did with Rose's animations, the way the scarf animates is really cool, and it's great to see a character whose clothes and hair are not flapping around nonsensically
They're clearly very unfinished, so you might have to suffer a flappy Rose at the end of development.
I rly hope the hair gets a bit redone, looks way too stiff for me, as if she used "three weather taff"

Yeah I didn't even notice because of how faithful this rose is, but other characters cloth physics are horrible.
Hopefully they just key frame all those aspects of her character like her scarf & hair etc

I love that they are using Rose's Alpha 3 theme,always loved that game soundtrack...easily top 3 best SF in terms of OST. Hope they use it as a base for her new theme

im listening to her alpha 3 theme "Scala" since the early 2000's and i still love it and im happy they wnt with that song in sfv.
i feels like everything in Alpha 3 were easy to forget, except that godlike announcer. And i always shocked about how some of SF fans are really love the OSTs in that game, even though I can't remember a single shit.
But idk, It seems like i've played too much Alpha 2.
@@PiccoloNamexio different nostalgia storys i guess. i was on a 1 week holiday with my class and i couldnt care less for it, but in the city i found a gamestore that had SF 3 Alpha (platinum version reprint for 20 bucks) for Playstation 1. i spend the whole week inside the house playing alpha 3. i was 14 and had no clue about whats good and what isnt because germany never had an arcade scene. "Scala" Theme from Rose is in my Playlist for Workout. with 23 i finaly discovered Maximilian in 2010 and my FGC Life changed forever.

This update legit makes me want to buy the game. That defensive skill makes a huge difference and the season 5 pass characters are also doing the same for me.
I really love the new perspective in the capcom war room. Adding v-shift alone changes the way the entire chemistry of the match plays. And Eleven is gonna be a monster in the hands of a player that’s been playing since day one. No one can counter pick him so hes already got an advantage outta the box. They’re mindsets are in a beautifully creative place right now. Max you better take out the best insurance policy you can find cause the arc has just begun
V-shift is clearly influenced by Ultra instinct because thats exactly what it looks like.

Doubt Remy will ever make it into a game that also has Guile. They're too similar.
@@Levi_Skardsen guile only has mid booms. Remi has low booms and dash kick to get it. Lol similar to Guile jumping knee except it hard knockdown effect.
