The lite version of ableton comes with the controller, yes. However the lite version has limited features, and the looper is one of those restricted features. You have to buy an expensive license to enable the use of the looper, and other tools

How could he record this without knowing what was recorded? I've noticed he was not wearing headphones. And in the video he was ''recording''.... for instance, when he was recording this glass sound, this glass sound with some water you know? he was recording while music was playing? So is this video ''REAL"? Or it's just an much edited video that is far from the Reality? Thanks!!! And by the way I mean no offense but just curious for the truth and how things are done.
+Guanjun Chen it's an AD, not actual music creation process. It's not surprise if it takes few days or week to collect all the ideas and samples.

Excellent demo video of found sounds and Novation Launchpad hardware. I use the Novation Launchpad iOS on my iPad Pro and love it dearly. Good job here. Impressive, for sure!

There should be some kind of arpegiator on the track so that way we get the crazy light movement. But what is it after that?
There might be a special script involved to trigger that 'light show'. It's assume most of his performance is via Ableton, yet I don't recognise that function. Max4live could provide a clue. All we see is the controller as it's connected an disconnected from various interfaces, midi and usb. There is no mention of what is being controlled. That's where the real magic takes place. The rest is performance. Is this any better than Push? I think not.

A drum rack in the instrument settings. You can put every sample you want inside it ;)

Je pense acheter un launchpad. Le fait qu’il est un séquenceur me convient. Mais comment pourrais je sauvegarder mes tracks sans utiliser un DAW.
Je veux les sauvegarder mais sur du hardware, il y a la possibilité d’utiliser un simple Looper, mais y a t il une autre alternative matérielle ?
J’utiliserai le launchpad prod avec une configuration assez simple pour commencer : launchpad pro + synthé neutron + casque audio + (un produit matériel pour enregistrer le track) mais lequel ?
Je pourrais le faire avec un novation circuit tracks, mais je suis intéressé par les qualités globales du Novation launchpad pro

Doesn't have sound? Have you connected your Launchpad Pro to your Mac or Windows PC via USB? Have you installed and activated your copy of Ableton Live Lite?
@@NovationTV yes I plug everything and get a software but I didn't get a 9 number code from abelton and I think maybe that's the problem. Also lights are working on my lanchpad.

Its nice trick to get high view everything was already recorded but using pad in just watching lights and a bit real acting with

Guess I'll be the 1st to point out that that's not "found sound". The term doesn't refer to the sounds you create in your own, or indeed any, studio.
Don't get me wrong, it sounds awesome, but it's just not found sound. "Oh look, I found the Moog I put in my studio"... Yeah, doesn't work like that...

i need help everytime i put live mode on the setup button the green top left button then stop holding the setup button nothing happens and i turn the launchpad off and then on and goes back to note mode

Man this video sold me on buying a launchpad, but then i ran into the abelton wall, this is heavily edited, the setup for this song is like 2 hours at least before the performance, However, im still happy i bought one, and now i understand the flow better.
I don't think it's edited, but he clearly set all this up and practiced in advance. He wasn't making all this up on the fly. Nonetheless, if we could know HOW he was doing this setup it would be far more useful than just watching him and staying confused.
