Yea same, I remember seeing this on Facebook way back in the day. For some reason my brain just remembered it again and I immediately had to find it again. Glad I was able to search it up so easily.
Because sound separating is so difficult. Either you had to have the music project or make a remix from strach. Hopefully now you can do this with ai programs.
I have no idea why this popped into my head almost a decade after first watching it but I found it quickly again and WOW what a throwback. Still as clean and exciting as I remember it. Thanks for the memories sir. Nearly at 50 million!
Okay everybordy, please just try to desynchronise your two hands in different rythms and to keep them, and you'll understand how hard is playing the launchpad. M4 is one of the genius who made that notion of live electronic music come true. Please just stop thinking it's easy, youtube is full of noobs pressing buttons also...
Rare Pepe great insults kid, that was about as painful as a feather. Why don't you grow up and stop being such a sad little piece of shit instead of needlessly harassing someone on youtube, seriously if this is how you spend your time your life must be pretty pathetic.
I dont like how launchpad covers have shifted into more of a lightshow than just a pure skill based mash of awesomeness. I like this kind of stuff better
i remember clear as day how refreshing it was to see an actual launchpad performance on YT back in the day. There were so many fake "Performances" wich only showed fancy lights over a pre-recorded track. But seeing this video, actually being able to follow every sound he produces was and still is mind-blowing to say the least
I personally think people are hyping up how hard it is to play a launchpad. The true skill and this guy's talent is not playing a launchpad because playing a launchpad is most likely easier than learning how to play most instruments. I think this guy's true talent is being able to create this amazing music on his own and being able to produce well.
+banoop100 To be fair, his true talent is being able to pair and mesh up sounds well to very precise polyrhythm and timing. This is something that only having a good ear or musical talent can do for you. A launchpad is very easy to play but he's getting into a complex set up such as memorizing the keys, the timing and cut of each sample, and being able to emulate his own mix from this. Theoretically, any instrument is easy to play, but it's different from per say playing the instrument properly and with the skillset.
