surely not a Prince level trained musician here lol - but more random player guessing notes- but still sounds interesting and sweet to me ! keep it coming!
To be honest, unless you don't have a Launchpad, have the original Launchpad which doesn't make the cut anymore, really like to upgrade or have too much money on you, then there isn't much point in buying the Launchpad Pro. Yes, velocity pads and more controls are great, but I've bought the Launchpad Mini and I'm extremely happy with it. It works with everything, including the iPad/iPhone. I don't see anything that the Pro does that the Mini couldn't do with a bit more tweaking. Also, if you have the money to buy a Pro, then surely you have other equipment that when connected together will do the same job as a Mini. It's a good upgrade Novation, but did we really need it?
My studio is eqquiped with only Akai MPC 13, Novation Launchpad Mini and Novation Launch Control :/ I am also getting the true TR 808 on my feast though
idkrandomstuff Well, they did. They made the launchpad MK2 which is just a regular launchpad with rgb lights, and that's it. You can still use the pro as a regular launchpad, just saying, but they made an upgraded launchpad that just has RGB LED's and nothing else upgraded. It's like 180 Euro now, as oppose to the 300+ of the pro. Check it out!
lupushi No, the launchpad stuff is just a midi controller. So you will need to connect it to something midi compatible to create the actual sounds such as a synth or your daw. Although you would probably route the midi through your daw to your synth if you are using hardware synths so you get all of the features.
***** "correct but you can't do allot of the things with a launchpad you can with Push", that's exactly why it's 5 times better. They really aren't all that different, you can do everything a launchpad can do with a push, so why are they so different? This new version just has some extra features Push also has, which kinda makes it the cheaper version of the Push. Apples, oranges... They're both fruit and are both used in the same ways, eating, drinking etc. So they really aren't all that different neither. I'm comparing Midi controllers, they both are clearly, one's better (more features, also more expensive) the other is worse (less features, less expensive)
I have PUSH but if this Pro model comes in at $300 (or less) I think most can live without the rotary encoders and display. Then again this thing is just begging to be hacked by Native Kontrol or genius.
And if encoders and faders are all you feel is lacking you can buy a LaunchControlXL TOO and still have a lower cost than the Push. I already have a Launchpad and LaunchcontrolXL and love it. Adding the Launchpad Pro functionality would do everything I could need
love that they included velocity sensitive pads, ill stick with my launchpad mini for the meantime but eventually i will get launchpad pro
it looks AMAZING !!!
The ableton push by novation, yes ! I want it !
Wow! Very impressive, Can't wait to get one!
Just imagine what Sonevable could do with all those new colors.
Nice mate, can't wait to get one

amazing *-*
Yes, but does it occupy another control surface slot?
:O
Literally my face right now.
Super nice cool
can it be bus powered only? looks cool though
It is bus powered, class compliant, Velocity sensitive pads, MIDI in and OUT and will work with any DAW that allows MIDI control!
Woow !
Can't hate on this one. I like it! But I already have too much gear *Sigh*
My studio is eqquiped with only Akai MPC 13, Novation Launchpad Mini and Novation Launch Control :/ I am also getting the true TR 808 on my feast though
Ironically I ended up purchasing the Launchpad Pro! LOL
hviy hob7rb
flashing lights n stuff
It's more like ableton push to be honest. I'll only upgrade from my launchpad S if they implement RGB into the launchpad I know and love.
this is RGB
On the same page with you dude. I personally like the simplicity of the old launchpads. This new push rivalry is gay af.
Yeah I know its RGB but I mean if they had something like the launchpad s but with non-velocity sensitive buttons and RGB
idkrandomstuff Look on the novation website. They just made one. uk.novationmusic.com/launch/launchpad#

How "hard" was it to add undo, arm, etc. buttons to early launchpad?...
买买买!
Shut up and take my money! LOL
Anybody got any idea what the white controller on his upper left with all the knobs is?
cool
TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!!
Does the launchpad pro works with Mac OS X 10.7?
episch ^^
I just got my launchpad s ;-;
Is Launchpad-Pro really helping on this version of Launchpad?
Does this also work with FL Studio 11?
Launchpad pro mini?
Hi~
I'm a nube of lunchPad.
Could I output sound only by using lunchPad without a laptop?

OK~
Thanks !! Helpful information ~ ^ ^"
Launchpad Pro or Ableton Push?
Will a dual core i7 be sufficient with minimal audio latency?
better get a soundcard
If it is $200 or less it's worth it
cool, push is still 5 times better though imo.
***** the launchpads are all completely designed for Ableton
ZyrektOfficial you can use it on the same way in FL Studio dude.

Have you tried them both?
***** You have both? Weird when did the Launchpad pro come out? Or even get a price / street date?
NovationTV What sound pack is this?
What about the firmware update for mininova?
Hi,
Were you looking for anything specific with regards to a MiniNova update?
Best,
Eddie // Novation Technical Support
NovationHelp Yea, the last stable update that has the same bugs reported in the beta!
I see learning how to play an actual instrument is going to be a thing of the past.
