He was up there with Vettel and Hamilton indeed... And then he crashed. For me, that crash never happened. I like what happened before, on the ragged edge. Supreme skill.
@@SDGRTX1455 I'm not a devoted Hamilton - or to use your pre-school insult 'crymilton'. I think it's a fair assumption that the pressure got to Max that weekend. @@SDGRTX1455 alright, we’ll see how crashstappen fans react when Lando wins the championship. We’ve already seen their reactions to Max crying like a baby in Hungary and reverting to his ‘crash for the championship’ tactics in Austria

I think it’s fair to say it’s the best lap that never was at least in modern times. Funny enough is it’s probably remembered more *because* it’s unfinished than it would’ve been if it were especially since it’s debatable if it’d have been enough to take pole if Max had taken a line the RB16B could’ve completed without touching the wall.
@@SanchezS1998 fair point, but if he were to take safer line which means he would've to go slower even a tad bit on that corner, the lap time would turn out to be very different. But it's definitely on par to challenge with Lewis' lap.
Would’ve been one of the best laps ever. Insane speed
Damn that was such a beautiful lap. The prettiest that NEVER WAS. Ugh. I was heartbroken when he hit the wall.
Full of mistakes though

Even though unfinished, this lap will still be forever legendary. Dancing on the edge of the sword all around.
The grip of those tires is incredible when you see some of these high speed turns
Without a doubt one of the greatest laps of the modern era
Up there with Vettel’s Singapore one shot and Hamilton’s Singapore pole
Well not really, he crashed.
Nah he messed up on the last corner, hamilton and vettel did perfect laps, max didn't
Verstappen Monaco 2023 as well

@Jejking he was only 2 tenths up on hamilton when he crashed lol
This is Best lap unfinished ever.
One of the most insane things i’ve ever seen live.
One of the fastest qualifying laps I have seen in a few years and it was a shame he couldn’t quite finish
Gran piloto Max y circukto urbano muy divertido.
Acontece. Mas continua sendo o melhor!!!
Che giro aveva fatto, una montagna russa a confronto era uno scherzo mi è venuto da sboccare solo a vederlo 🤢
This unfinished tour was completed in Monaco in 2023..
When he and Lewis Hamilton both shifted to 8th gear🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I saw Senna spirit in this lap when I was watching it live to bad he didn’t finish 😢
26/27 of the greatest lap of all time
That turbo whine 👌
just one last corner, 1 last corner.
Unfinished perfect lap, just like Senna‘s unfinished perfect race in Monaco 88.
Nice, but slightly sped up, you can see it when you watch closely.
it's 100% normal speed. i recorded this from f1tv. i did cut out the stretch before turn 1 to avoid copyright strikes
Verstappen massive lock up and lose control, in f1 lock up = car can't turn
Nothing last forever
Lap of the gods…almost
Damn thats nice
Holy Fk That Was😮😮
I think he was sick at a time
720 . are you serious ? the quality is 240
