Had Verstappen not crashed in Turn 27 three years ago, this easily could hit 1:26.765, which is an alltime lap record in Jeddah that still stands in 2024!
How did the 21-year-old car end up ahead in the last sector? there are solid straight lines. And the 24-year-old car had higher speed on the straights
Thanks for the music!!!!
I will love to see the comparation of turn 22 i think it was 2022-2023, it was a lot faster, will be amazing if you add 2022 pole lap, also to see the evolution of these new cars
In 2024 some walls he made it even closer than in 2021... Max with the experience of now would lower the stopwatch to 1:26.9 in 2021.
Keep on crying so would hamilton
@@SeanSmith88 no ones crying and hamilton would be nowhere near
people say in 2021 he was more on the limit but through the 1st sector he´s way closer to the walls in 2024
max drives so close to the wall in the 2024 lap clear improvement
En el tercer sector en un momento el del 2021 superó al de 2024 🔥🔥🔥🔥
the last generation of cars were so aggressive on turn in and direction changes
some corner in 2021 was narrower than, the barrier was close to the white line. , however, 2021 exit of turn 17 was something called WOWWWWWWW!!😲😳
hate as much as you want, but this guy is in a whole other league right now, he's an absolute monster
No stop spouting bs you mean the car is a whole monster now!
2024 Phenomenal❤️
how does one get the exhaust mic to work? cus it sounds sexy asf
Will this year's car eventually beat the times of the old regulations on traditional circuits? On the street it's one thing, on a circuit it's another. Bring a comparison of Bahrain, between the max pole in 2021 and this year's return, please
Griubd effect cars really suit this track
Minimum speed around turn 22 was 195 for RB20 meanwhile the RB16B was 243 almost 50km/h faster
Yes because the corner layout was tightened a couple years back. That‘s why the times this year in s3 were a lot slower while having higher topspeeds.
@@bj5834 they really change turn 22?
@@FACUNDOX197Yep, they made it lot slower
The 2025 cars will be the last era of ground effect cars, and they might be the fastest cars ever.
the new 2026 regs will still be ground effect
2021 last sector lock up really hurts
I wonder what was Max's fastest sector 3 in jeddah 2021 (whether it was practice or qualifying)?
Max Verstappen's Jeddah 2021 Q3 L2 will remain the greatest lap that never was for a long time.
The black RB was a fuckin beauty
RB, or Red Bull? Words matter in 2024, now that "team RB" exists! XD
The 2021 lap was to Max’s career what Senna’s 1988 Monaco race was.
indeed almost identical laps
The circuit has way more color in 2024 than in 2021
Its a shame the cars are so big now because its hard to see how fast they are realy going.
2021 looks so much better without the eye sore wheel tyre cover things.
1:34 2024 Max is even closer to the wall than 2021 Max
Here for the sounds as usual!
look 2021 at 1:33, wtf was this velocity at curvers O.O
How is the boat faster than the jet?
I still believe the 2021 unfinished lap was more impactfull then 2024. Reason being the championship battle and what it could have meant to max. 2024 is just another pole in a long season of races but 2021 was about making a statement its all or nothing.
He litteraly destroyed his 2021 lap wtf 💀
Faster in highspeed corners, also better top speed because of the new regulations makes the cars alot more slippery. So only maybe this track and monza will be advantage.

0:31 wow he didn’t crash like mick
I think the current downforce in the high speeds are on par with 2020. It's the car weight that's the bottleneck for sure.
M A S I 2021 so good!
how about Charles Q2 lap compared to 2021?
Apart from crashing with Hamilton at Brazil 2022, this was the last major mistake Max has made to this day.
