Oscar is so good at managing the blending between throttle and breaks, and is so precise with managing the aero balance of the car with the weight transfer.
The way the track ramped up over the course of this weekend was amazing (if not surprising). By the end of the main race, they were lapping essentially the same times as this pole lap, despite the fuel loads, battery management, general fatigue etc
While Norris has higher raw speed, Piastri looks to be more consistent in stringing a lap together in Quali. How many times we hear Norris beating himself that it would have been pole if not for a niggle or two.
Juzh, could you upload the qualifying lap of Stroll please? I have noticed how erratic he moves his steering wheel, maybe a comparisson between Stroll and Alonso? I would really like to see how both drivers drive the Aston Martin side by side :) please! 😘
Not impressive but Lawson did quite good to be honest and also I was surprised Hulkenberg beat most of the time K-Mag, not a rookie but it was his first full season since 2019.
@Joshavne Yeah but it has to be said that recently all the other rookies started with not competitive cars, Mclaren in 2007 was the best car in most of the tracks while in 2023 in the second half of the season the car improved massively and now it's not that far from Red Bull.
@@vamositalia4600Remind me, which team won the constructors in 2007 and 2008?? I assume you're Italian so you should know. To blatantly suggest the Mclaren was the fastest car that year is bold and slightly bias. They were evenly matched a bit like Ferrari and RedBull in 2010 and 2012.
I was surprised that the official F1 page didn’t upload his lap. Thanks for getting the job done!
they did, just that it's behind a paywall, which is where this is from :P
@@ryndrssn oh ok I didn’t know about that.
@@MRHDOfficial i was talking about f1tv, and i was messing with you :D
incredibly calm, low steering input, like Verstappen he seems to handle the sensibility of an agile car with facility

tbh circuit is really aesthetic to watch
He has really dramatic gear changes..hes isn't afraid to smash the gearbox is he
I also notice this from Oscar’s onboards, he’s downright violent on his downshifts, love to see it
Sector 3 was absolutely beautifully done by piastri
And it wasn't even his best S3 of the session
Thank you, man!
Hoping to see more of this in 2024

Tbh the higher raw speed probably is what is causing these mistakes, overpushing.
Good job
This track is a real F1 track test.
Last 5 corners is very fast!
Is there any way I can get a link to the Drive that your onboards are in? RUclips removing them constantly is annoying.

Stroll's slow laptimes arent worth the effort it takes to make them, so no stroll vids until he shows some speed
just curious if that was the best line for the final turn ?
Do you still post on vk?
Very strange that Max couldn't beat a lap that was 8 tenths slower than his pole lap on Friday.
Keep in mind the track changed and the weather was different.
What Spyker said and the wind plays a big role too. Many many outside factors that can change the performance of the car overnight.
He's absolutely like Kimi
Like Kimi Antonelli or Kimi Raikkonen?
Piastri possibly the only impressive rookie in F1?
Ofc
Not impressive but Lawson did quite good to be honest and also I was surprised Hulkenberg beat most of the time K-Mag, not a rookie but it was his first full season since 2019.
Best McLaren rookie since Lewis Hamilton
