    Some of these QuickShots are so epic. Hoping we get proper Portrait Mode support soon. Can’t get enough of the Dronie and Helix modes! Which mode is your favourite?

    🔔 UPDATE 03/11/22 🔔 A few days ago DJI released another firmware update (v01.00.0400) adding support for MasterShots in Portrait Mode! So now we can do both QuickShots and MasterShots in Portrait!
    🔔 UPDATE 01/07/22 🔔 DJI have just released a new firmware update (v01.00.0201) adding Vertical Video support for all QuickShot modes (except Asteroid) and FocusTrack! But still no vertical mode for MasterShots just yet!

      @EriX88888 this video is about the Mini 3 Pro (the standard Mini 3 didn’t exist at the time) The Mini 3 Pro has MasterShots and QuickShots ✌🏻

    I was hoping that the portrait mode will allow capturing panoramas. Looks like there's quite a bit more that the backroom guys at DJI could tweak out of this highly anticipated product. This Mini 3 will be a huge success.

    • @JCKRGB
      @JCKRGB  2 года назад

      That would be great! There’s definitely some software features they should add. I’d like options to customise the automatic exposure bracketing. Currently only options are for the number of photos taken, 3 or 5. But no options to choose their exposure! Thanks for watching Philip! ✌🏻

      @@JCKRGB Thank YOU, for taking the trouble to document all these hidden gems and sharing with us. The Mini 3 does not like standing still for me to slowly go through the menu on the controller as it heats up. Besides all these features are not accessible until it actually flying.

    Thanks for the overview. I wish though you included what the drone will do when it finishes the task (Mastershots, QuickShots, .... ) is it going to return home, hoover at its current location or land.

    • @JCKRGB
      @JCKRGB  Год назад +2

      Cheers! Good point, I should have mentioned! After completing a MasterShot or QuickShot, the drone automatically returns to the starting position of that move. But you can cancel the return and take manual control yourself. Thanks for watching! ✌🏻

    great video, but I felt most shots look jittery, not sure whats the issue. I think you need to attach ND and maintain the shutter speed rightly

    • @JCKRGB
      @JCKRGB  2 года назад +1

      I shot this drone footage at 30fps but the rest of my footage and timeline was 24fps (my usual frame rate) - which might have made it look jittery - D'oh!
      I actually did use NDs - in fact I made a video about them here:

    Quality episode on your drone journey, Jack.👍 Shooting modes well explained and illustrated. Glad you didn’t fall off those cliffs - got uncomfortably close to the edge there😁. Are high wind alert levels baked in or can you set them? What are those values? (I’m thinking about preparation by checking weather forecasts.) Didn’t understand how the unit lacks topside avoidance sensor, yet dodged overhead tree branches. Cheers!

    • @JCKRGB
      @JCKRGB  2 года назад +2

      Thank you Paul!
      I think it looks like I was a lot closer to the edge on video than I actually was - I’m not good with heights haha
      The high wind alerts are baked in as far as I’m aware, no way to turn them off or change any settings. I’m guessing as a deliberate precaution to make sure you don’t turn them off and forget. DJI says the Mini 3 Pro has a Max Wind Speed Resistance of 10.7 m/s (about 24mph)
      As for the sensors, both the front and rear ones cover quite a wide angle of range, perhaps that helped it navigate under the trees as it was travelling forwards. If I were to manually fly straight up, it may not have been able to detect anything directly above ✌🏻

    Is there a way to adjust the zoom range for the MasterShots? Some shots I don't need it to zoom out so far out, because it makes the item way too small.
